The antibiotics should be clearing it out then so why is it taking so long? The chest x-rays should show if it is clearing up.

It was a very severe case. I'm told it could be 2 or 3 months before it heals fully.

I won't be in hospital for months, but I am not ready to go home yet. The main problem is that I get out of breath very quickly. The slightest exertion has me feeling like I've run a marathon. They are getting ready to move me to a rehab centre until I am well enough to go home. Not the sort of rehab centre where I get to hang out with rock stars, but a halfway house between hospital and home.

Thanks, Jason.

As an aside, I should probably mention that I got a copy of Gadgets, Girls and Guns by our very own Drake for Christmas.

Over 9 million VIEWS on this thread and Cr-egg is STILL Bond technically with no resolution in sight!----------The flu and RSV are up 72% in NYC and travel and close group contact are a major cause they claim (no kidding!). This is an interesting take on COVID speaking of viruses: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DEDwJUki ... A2ZQ%3D%3D

That doesn't show that it was planned, though, merely predicted. I know that the British government had a pandemic preparedness plan that it ignored for years.

d**n. Was it compounded by Covid? Those seem to go hand and hand, and easily knock out otherwise healthy people.

Good point.

Babs wants to keep it in theatrical release so she stays in control, under contract that was written in the 1970s.

Amazon is open to all kinds of options.

And technically has enough of the rights to hire another production company to make bond movies for them.

Amazon could easily go the way of never say never again.

Or they could Hire Chris Nolan , give him a multi picture deal or find their jon favreau who brought Star Wars back with the Mandalorian and created the frame work that allowed the first phases of the marvel universe to happen.
.
I think if Babs plays this wrong she ends up owing half the rights to a franchise nobody makes. Then again her family motto is everything or nothing so this makes sense from her point of view.

I want to rewatch the first bond movies with Connery over the holiday but it might not happen, just because of events planed I’m obligated to go.
To think we used to binge watch these before binge watching was a thing.

May be nostalgia but Bond used to be something special, even though cubby and Saltman were basically copying Hitchcock with a pinch of Ian Fleming‘s adventure flair, there was something about the formula the first movies had that really resonated. 20 original movies were just a measure of how close the came to getting the formula right.

I think in the right hands, right creative people making the stories , they could bring back bond, I don’t think that necessarily includes Babs or EON productions. On the other hand, I’m not so sure it includes Amazon either.

MGW is retired. Broccoli may NEVER produce another Bond film. That looks more and more like the future, especially with Cr-egg gone.

Thankfully, I am off the oxygen. I seem to be healing faster at home, though I am a long way from a full recovery.
