What is so wrong with a blond actor?

Post by tiswas »

I have noticed that DC is a blond hired to play 007, but there have been another blond actor playing him too. Roger Moore
But RM was good looking and was a choice for Fleming too, my aunt, this is true, had a real crush on the guy ever since seeing him in 'The Saint'.
I honestly feel that being anti-DC because of his colouring to be a little offputting, and there have been plenty of excellent manly looking blond actors who were approached.
But DC is really miscast, I feel and to be Bond women want to fancy him, but I can't cos the banner is like the seeing the double of Spike Millingham.

Roger's hair got lighter (maybe to hide the grey?), especially in AVTAK, but I certainly wouldn't call it blond.
“I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that and scaring the s--- out of me,” Bond Hardman Daniel Craig.

Moore's hair was more sandy blond. But blond nevertheless.

There be no blond there.
“I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that and scaring the s--- out of me,” Bond Hardman Daniel Craig.

It depends on lighting Skywalker. Sandy blond hair never looks consistent with different lighting.

I think he means "Spike Milligna, the well-known spelling mistake".
"He's the one that doesn't smile" - Queen Elizabeth II on Daniel Craig

Many people were complaining about Daniel Craig's rather unique looks which were at odds with the sterotypical image of Bond.

To be polite, the press and others say that people were unsatisfied with him because of his "blond" hair; "blond" seemed to be a polite way to desribe his unconventional looks.

I have no problem with a blond Bond. Although Craig had a rather eccentric haircut - unlike Roger's normal hair - I think there were many other reasons other than the colour of his hair that made him a poor Bond.
Bring back Bond!
