Daniel Cr-egg stars in Luca Guadagnino‘s romantic drama “Queer,” playing a gay American expat in 1950s Mexico City. The drama, with its explicit love scenes, swept up a packed theater at its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, earning a 9-minute standing ovation. When the applause began, Cr-egg looked flushed and misty-eyed as he hugged Guadagnino. The crowd chanted “Luca! Luca! Luca!” while the ovation continued, with each actor coming down the Sala Grande steps from where they sat in the balcony to bow individually. During his turn, Cr-egg blew kisses to the crowd as his wife, Rachel Weisz, smiled proudly..........OSCAR buzz for this will be his wish. The Cannes film festival had a similar reaction to Costner's Horizon western and that BOMBED hugely in the USA. The elites have no clue what people want.

I wonder if Dan was able to appear more comfortable in his love scenes for this movie as opposed to the ones in his Bond films?bjmdds wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 3:45 pm Daniel Cr-egg stars in Luca Guadagnino‘s romantic drama “Queer,” playing a gay American expat in 1950s Mexico City. Can't see Connery starring in a movie named Queer. Much more of a ladies man than Dan.dirtybenny wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 4:21 pmI wonder if Dan was able to appear more comfortable in his love scenes for this movie as opposed to the ones in his Bond films?bjmdds wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 3:45 pm Daniel Cr-egg stars in Luca Guadagnino‘s romantic drama “Queer,” playing a gay American expat in 1950s Mexico City. Yeah, his "queerest" film was Zardoz with the "Borat onesie" and he absolutely oozed machismo in that film. So much so the ethereal overlord women couldn't stop throwing themselves at him!Jason wrote: Sat Sep 21, 2024 5:04 pmCan't see Connery starring in a movie named Queer. Pierce Brosnan Bond girl Michelle Yeoh felt Tomorrow Never Dies put her out of work. James Bond girl Michelle Yeoh, who played Wai Lin opposite Pierce Brosnan's 007 in Tomorrow Never Dies, has confessed how she struggled to land proper roles after co-starring in the blockbuster.......shut up already about a Bond film ruining their careers. Do NOT agree to be a part then!

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Daniel Cr-egg may have been the longest-serving James Bond actor in history but, according to bookies, he’s not the most desirable. The nation has spoken and deemed Pierce Brosnan the most desired 007 of all time based on a few factors like social media popularity, attractiveness and even facial composition according to research conducted by Betway. Connery was second and Cr-egg finished only 3rd............... Betway crowned Cavill ‘the internet’s favorite person to play the next Bond’ thanks to 64,800 searches in the past year alone, way ahead of anyone else who may be thought to be in contention. Its research also claimed that Cavill has ‘the most Reddit mentions discussing the likelihood of him playing the role, at 120 overall from the threads analyzed’.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Kelly Brook has recalled the hilarious moment she failed to notice a huge Hollywood celebrity standing right beside her. The 44-year-old model is no stranger to rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous, but while on a leisurely stroll with her husband, Jeremy Parisi, 39, in North London earlier this week, she failed to recognize one of the UK’s most well-known stars, Daniel Cr-egg. Daniel, who has recently debuted his long hair, wore a cap and sunglasses, along with a blue sweater and jeans, appeared a little bit surprised by his invisibility. At first walking in front of the model, photos show him standing close to the wall of a building as he watched Kelly pick up her dog but still Kelly did not notice who he was!
What a joke this guy is and the media portrays him as this HUGE figure from Hollywood, but nobody gives a hoot about him, or notices him. One day maybe I can cross paths with him in NY City somewhere.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Daniel Cr-egg’s 007 Retirement is a Blessing for Rachel Weisz After ‘Suffering’ for Years as His Own Bond Girl: ‘All the drinking he did.' He threw himself into the James Bond role for a decade and a half, which reportedly affected his marriage to Rachel Weisz. A source close to the couple shared with Closer Weekly that the demanding nature of the role and the level of commitment of the actor made him difficult to live with. The source further added along with his grueling training schedule, he was also drinking too much which also affected his marriage. The source told Closer Weekly: That role was so demanding, not just the shoot schedules… the level of commitment it took year round to stay in shape, all the training sessions and the diets, made him very hard to live with. He really threw himself into it to such an intense degree. And then there was all the drinking he did, that wasn’t exactly conducive to a happy marriage. The source also told the outlet that Cr-egg admitted to not being an attentive husband...........not surprising. She married a low class clown with disgusting facial looks and limited talent so what did she expect? Without Broccoli bankrolling his career he would be acting in plays off Broadway and would have probably turned into a burned out drunk.

I always thought they were each others' beard, so I'm surprised to hear talk about a happy marriage.

Dan was stressed by the "commitment" of the role? Yeah a film every 5 years seems rough! Now he's blaming his drinking on the role?! He was constantly quoted as saying how much he hated martinis so it wasn't a method actor's thing, he was always going on about how much he enjoyed his beery shenanigans with his mates in gay bars (for those who may have forgot he literally said this). For this to come out now, 3 (actually 5) years after his departure from the role makes me wonder if they aren't laying down the foundation for a split in the future?
