I remember the hired Craig going “gritty and realistic” because 9/11 happened , yet DAD was a 2002 movieKristatos wrote:Small sample size, but still....

As I have said before, why doesn't Daniel Craig wear clothes that fit?dirtybenny wrote:And I felt nothing about the revelation as well!Omega wrote:and the I feel nothing about the revelationdirtybenny wrote:Yeah, lol, it's pretty spot on. I also like the "producer" shrugging when the "writer" explains that Blofeld is back and also "sort of Bond's brother."
Yes, I always look to Craig for the latest in over the hill, snug, hipster chic!carl stromberg wrote:Here is a picture of Daniel Craig from the article. I posted it as I know Dirtybenny and Capt. Flandry like to pick up fashion tips from him.

I imagine it has something to do with his narcissism and inability to admit his age.Capt. Sir Dominic Flandry wrote:As I have said before, why doesn't Daniel Craig wear clothes that fit?

I always thought it was funny back in 2008 Gemma what’s her face compared kissing Craig to kissing her dad, and then married Craig’s stunt mandirtybenny wrote:I imagine it has something to do with his narcissism and inability to admit his age.Capt. I watched Mr Bean today and he put the wrong pair of trousers on. It reminded me of Craig's trousers.....

Had they played the Bond Theme over the top of the video it could have been a scene straight out of NTTD, however they don't play the Bond Theme in the films anymore so...

I wouldn't really call that a "sex scene", though. (Edit: I just found out that Tapatalk totally messed up the formatting on my post, spoiling the joke. Oh well.)dirtybenny wrote:You forget they already had one!Kristatos wrote:No Time To Die "will feature Bond's first gay sex scene".

The joke worked for me, I just didn't want to refer to it and spoil the punchline.Kristatos wrote:I wouldn't really call that a "sex scene", though. I mean sure, it's not hard core pornography, but it's as much a sex scene you would see in a PG-13 Bond film.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Not really, because they're not actually having sex. Bond is regularly seen in bed with women, and whilst there are obviously limits to what they can show, it's still more than a bit of non-consensual flirting.dirtybenny wrote: I mean sure, it's not hard core pornography, but it's as much a sex scene you would see in a PG-13 Bond film.

Eh... "non-consensual?" I'd say Craig's expression would say otherwise.
BTW, my tongue is pressed firmly in cheek on all this.

Maybe, but in-story, Bond was Silva's captive. That's what I meant by non-consensual.dirtybenny wrote: Eh... "non-consensual?" I'd say Craig's expression would say otherwise.

Mark Kermode's Secrets of Cinema tonight at 9pm on BBC4 is all about the spy movie, and naturally features lots of Bond, according to the previews.

Seydoux told the Daily Mail that fans should prepare for waterworks when they finally get to see the new film.
“There's a lot of emotion in this Bond,” she said. “It's very moving. I bet you're going to cry. When I watched it, I cried, which is weird because I am in it.” The French actor also discussed the ways in which her character breaks the mould of the stereotypical “Bond girl” in that she is “not a character written to please men”.---------the only person that will be crying is Broccoli over the end of her pet sloth in the Bond role A tearjerker Bond plot? A Bond "girl" that men will NOT like? Who is the target audience for this mayhem? Madness DB, this is food for thought

Food for thought indeed BJ, however it's nothing but junk food. Just more of the usual "different kind of Bond girl" BS we've been subject to for decades.
As to getting all weepy over this film, how do they figure? The only way possible would be the Craig Bond's death, otherwise who would care? Who would cry over Swann or Lynch's character or even one of the MI6 staff dying? Nobody else has been established as worth caring about!

Indiana Jones 5 has just been delayed by an entire year, until 2022 Again. While Disney largely focused on Star Wars after purchasing Lucasfilm for more than $4 billion in 2012, another major franchise that made its way to the Mouse House in the landmark deal was Indiana Jones. For several years now, the plan has been to get Harrison Ford back for one more go-around as the whip-cracking icon. Now, thanks to some necessary reshuffling of Disney's entire release calendar for 2020 and 2021, the wait just got even longer. Ford will be 80 by then
