Plans for Bond 22

Post by carl stromberg »

What are you planning to do for Bond 22? Are you going to boycott it? Watch it on DVD? Watch it because "it's a Bond film"?

I don't think I could face watching it in the cinema.

Watch it and hope it's better than Casino Royale.

Looking forward to watching it, so at least I'm one of the first to write a negative review.

I think that a lot of people will go to cinemas to check if this formula gonna work in next films. How Craig will handle himself in a role of Bond in later stage of his spying career. I guess I'll also do. Just to check if there is any hope, that in future Hugh Jackman will become Bond and everything gonna be all right ;)

I don't think that's gonna happen. If you look at EON's previous Bond hiring decisions, they've all been either unknowns or TV stars. I doubt they'd hire an A-list star like Jackman.

I bet most people on here will end up going to the cinema to watch it, regardless of your stance on the new direction or Craig being Bond.

If you feel passionate enough to dedicate time on here talking about Bond, I doubt any of you will wait patiently for the film to come out on DVD to see if it may be better than CR.

Curiosity will get the better of you.

Perhaps. But Bond 23 won't be such a success. Everyone will simply know that 'new formula' won't change and it can't be interesting for the majority of viewers. I hope...

Why do you hope that Bond 23 wont be interesting ...........i mean after the conclusion of Bond 22 to the story started in CR.............I'am sure the majority of the worldwide public will be looking forward to a great new Bond adventure..............wont you? Otherwise whats the point of being a Bond fan????????

I just say, that with the formula of brutal Craig bond with no gadgets, q or moneypenny it can't be interesting. That's the point I guess. The only thing that makes me to go to the cinema and watch Bond 22 is how this all gonna end. Cuz CR wasn't interesting for me at all. As long as DC plays the part, for me the franchise is dead.

I also think I'd go to the cinema. The Sweeney is right - curiosity is too strong. But it's a rather strange type of curiosity. I mean I only wonder if it can be just a poor film (compared to the horrible CR).
- "Do I look like I give a d**n?"
- You don't. And that's the main problem.

Only 12 viewings!!!! :)

Thats a high number...............in fact when i started a post at CBn about how many times the members there had seen CR at the theatre, your figure would of put you in either second or third place....................BUT

The record incidently for CR cinema viewings at CBn was ......31 by a schoolteacher in Bakersfield, California.

Blimey.. my viewings of 4 was more than enough saturation of the film for me.

Wow. That woman must be independently weathy seeing it so many times given how high movie prices in the States are-unless it's a matinee and it's still 6 or seven dollars. If you go any other time it's closer to $10.

It costs more than $10 to see a movie in the UK............in the region i live in, the cheapest ticket cost is 6.5 GBP, which is approx $13.
