BIG EARS the new Bond? IF so, retire the franchise to bedlam and move on for I would not waste my time with this ingot of blandness being in the role! An "ingot of blandness" is a vivid, poetic metaphor used to describe something that is supremely boring, dense with unoriginality, and entirely devoid of flavor, excitement, or character!

Until the announcement, I'm going to hold out a sliver of hope that it's not him. But it's not looking good. Quitting his own film company is a pretty big sign.

I hope you're right. The other candidates range from "acceptable" to "no real opinion one way or the other", but Banjo Boy is the one contender who I definitely don't want.

It does feel like we're being softened up for the announcement of Banjo Boy. But then, a couple of weeks ago, it was Jack Lowden. I wish they'd hurry up and tell us something, even if it's just "we've made a decision, and will announce it on (date)".
