I can't believe I fell for it again! Collider.com published a story with a headline that was something like "A new Bond officially takes over in two days", and thought Amazon had finally set a date for the big announcement. But it turned out to be yet another story about the Young Bond audio dramas.

Take this with a pinch of salt (as ever) but someone on the There Will Be Bond podcast (no, I've never heard of it either) said they saw a private group chat email from someone in the 'business' with a reliable track record who claims that Tom Brittney impressed the most in the auditions and might get the part. This person claims the Turner/Lowden stuff is misdirection to throw people off the Tom Brittney scent. Brittney actually came up in a reddit rumour about a week ago but no one seemed to believe it.

Don't know anything about the guy, but he seems to at least look the part.

Tom Christopher Brittney (born 26 October 1990) so he is 36! Aidan Turner is 43 so what is the difference?

Image More acceptable as Bond compared to the other losers but he is no Aidan Turner.

I'm not going to put too much faith in a rumour posted on Reddit by someone claiming to have contacts in the industry. But I think I'd be reasonably happy if he was cast. I've certainly no desire to spend the next 20 years sulking that Aidan Turner didn't get it (though I might if the eventual choice turns out to be terrible).

The question is, whose photo is that? Have they finally made a casting decision, or did they use an anonymous model?

The decision has been made by giving the year of the next release so we shall see VERY shortly now.......Denise Richards and Priscilla Barnes are at Chiller Theatre's convention today. We will head over tonight to take in the Saturday night party and see if we spot any 'celebrities'.

We were standing next to Brande Roderick at the band sessions show and she was friendly to all. We also saw Ted "Lurch" Cassidy's son Sean who looks just like his father did. Elliot Lurie, of Looking Glass band fame, was singing his 1 hit wonder song Brandy on stage with the band as well. we also saw porn star Amber Lynn walking by.
