The series seems to be in limbo at the moment with Craig doing other bits and Eon taking a break.
I would like to see Craig make his films as soon a possible so we can have a new Bond actor sooner. Then again, if Eon/Craig take a long break, they will make fewer Bond films.
Do you hope there is a new Bond film soon?

As long as Bond 23 releases in 2011, I'm good.carl stromberg wrote:The series seems to be in limbo at the moment with Craig doing other bits and Eon taking a break.

Eh, I hope everything (financial stuff, script, etc.) gets sorted out so that we don't get (another) substandard Bond film.

I'm starting to like the idea of a long delay. Maybe Craig can be the new Timothy Dalton.carl stromberg wrote:The series seems to be in limbo at the moment with Craig doing other bits and Eon taking a break.

Seems that they begin Bond 23 at the end of next year. So maybe they'll drag it out for a release in 2012 and go for an anniversary year Bond film.
I'm still annoyed over missing out on 2007. Cubby would've taken that year surely.

I wish we had an idea of the end of Craig's reign. The next one will be in 2011/12. Then, even if Bond 23 is poorly received, there will no doubt be another Craig Bond in 2015.
I wish Craig would just say "this is my last Bond movie" at some stage, or at least suggest that he is tiring of the role and may not return for another as Connery and Moore suggested during their Bond stints.

Moore hinted that he wanted to leave the Bond role after MR in 1979, yet stayed around for another six years.Capt. Maybe Craig will do the same.
Let's hope....

Yeah, cos it's be so great to see Craig looking as old as Rog did in AVTAK.Captain Nash wrote: Moore hinted that he wanted to leave the Bond role after MR in 1979, yet stayed around for another six years.
