You can't embed videos in posts any longer? It doesn't seem to work now.
It works better in Tapatalk than in the browser-based version of the forum, but even then, it is erratic.

It does not work and should be fixed. You cannot post a video with your computer and this has been going on a very LONG time. Welcome back Count, after 5 years away, how have you been?
The domain name is paid for up until next autumn, I think. I don't know who by, though, it is anonymised. I do seem to spend an awful lot of time these days disapproving spam posts, many of which are written in Cyrillic script.

We had a big forum crash once, and we did say that if it ever happened again, and didn't fix itself in a few days like it did last time, we would migrate en masse to Alternative 007. That seems to be the forum that's least hostile to anti-Craig points of view.

I checked it out a bit, the Alternative 007 forum I mean, some of the people here are there already, even FormerBondFan, at least he had posted there before.
But it's a ghost town there now more or less it seems.
I think we're all kind of in limbo at the moment. Craig is gone, but not really. He's still officially Bond until the next guy is announced, which is why we think poor, lovelorn Babbzy is so reluctant to choose a replacement. What happens next largely depends on who the replacement is. If it's a choice we all hate, then there might be a justification for keeping this forum going. If it's someone we approve of, or at least can live with, then we might drift off to one of the other forums, I dunno. It looks like it's not something we'll need to think about for a while.

Craig's version of Bond died in the last one, but the end credits contained the usual "JAMES BOND WILL RETURN". They will just reboot with a new actor. Eventually.

There have been sort of reboots before, first in GoldenEye and then in CR with DC (we didn't like DC but that was another question).
The feeling was that Bond was always the same man even though there was a new actor and a new style, there were sometimes references to things in the past, and so on.
But now, to have Bond rise from the dead? Or was DC Bond in an alternate universe and he died? We'll have references to past missions, "well I died but then I got a new life, my wife Tracy wasn't so lucky though"?
The DC Bonds were an alternate timeline, like Never Say Never Again. The series traces this alternate Bond's career from his first kill to his death. It contradicts events in the previous series, like his first meeting with Felix, and Blofeld being his foster brother. I don't know what they will do for the next one. Either start again from scratch, or (hopefully) make it the next entry in the series that ran from Dr No to Die Another Day, but with the timeline shifted to allow for a Bond in his thirties, rather than a veteran of the Cold War.

NSNA wasn't a real Bond film though, so it's not comparable, it wasn't made by EON and they couldn't use the Bond theme, and so on.
But I'm sure the regular audience saw DC as just a continuation of the series, not a separate timeline. For them it will be like Bond rises from the grave if they're going to make more films.
I think that in this age of endless reboots and cinematic multiverses, audiences will be able to grasp that the next Bond film will not follow on directly from NTTD, just as they understood that Joaquin Phoenix's Joker was not Jared Leto's Joker or Heath Ledger's Joker.
