Yep except the world is not enough didn't suck and this sure as well will , Brosnan could show that side of bond that cregg will never have ie being serious sometimes and being a cold hearted killer when need be and still be a suave spy with class who blended in, got the women and got it all right, I don't blame Brosnan for not watching creggs bond films it's a waste of oxygen.

I have a feeling Bond 23 will be awful. Is it going to be "lighter" or are they going to make another dull Bourne type thriller?
Let's hope this is Daniel Craig's last Bond movie.

Unfortunately it probably won't be since the green turnip wants him here for the forseeable future and babs has got such an insane obession with him to the point that it may as well be considered stalking, after her comment about hoping cregg and javier don't keep their shirts on in the film and being happy about it I'm surprised Weisz (creggs wife) isn't angry at babs and cregg's either oblivious to it, doesn't care or really enjoys being obsessed over.Gary Seven wrote:I have a feeling Bond 23 will be awful. But hey the world today lets crazy people and stupid people call the shots (most of the time), whereas the creative ones who aren't crazy or stupid are just sitting back and taking it, hell I can compare babs ruination of bond to misery where she wanted the writer to change the character since she was disgusted with how he handled her and it was his own work, then she was happy, then angry that he wrote something again and ultimately wasn't happy unless it was changed to what she wanted and that's what babs represents to Me, a person who pissed all over Cubbys great work, was never happy with the 40 year standard bond we were all brought up with and now he's not around anymore she thinks she can do whatever the hell she wants to it, the thing is if you do someone elses work whether you hated it or not, either get someone else familar with said persons work to do it if you don't have any interest at all, carry on that persons work and stick as close to his work as possible without doing what said person who took care of it did later instead of screwing it all up, saying I never liked that 40 year old bond, he's sexist blah blah, too unrealistic blah blah, always gets the woman I know I'll make him short, grumpy, make him as big as a house and make him blonde and unlikeable and a thug who does nothing else oh and only get him there for one thing and not bond.
In the words of mr t, I pity the brocolli
Speaking of which if Mr t's a fan of bond and not creggs one maybe we can get him to throw some snickers bars at babs .

Reviewing all of the information in the available about SKyfall some of it still rumor, with all of the rumors confirmed at the press conference it is harder to take them lightly. I am more than a little concerned they are about to commit several fatal errors.
Moneypenny: Lets say this "Eve" is the first person CraigBond Shags, later she is promoted/becomes Moneypenny then it violates Ian Fleming's intentions to the letter. Unless they kill off CraigBond before the end of this, introducing new M and staff before the final credits, however it still soils Bond's history.
Skyfall: Bad name bad idea. Keep It Simple Stupid, Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon had no deeper meaning. It sold a the idea and fulfilled the expectations. The idea of "Skyfall"'s meaning having deeper emotional context should be trashed. Citizen Cain was not call Rosebud.
M in trouble?: Sorry no sale. Again violates Ian Flemming's concept. The World is not Enough took this concept about as far as it can go, I don't see why aside from emotional twist they would go there. M is Bond's boss as such is a bulwark on which Bond relies, having M be fallible, corruptible with a sorted past which Bond has to help her rectify, meaning kill people for her is so far off the mark it would be in other circumstances laughable.
No continuation of Quantum: There is a case to be made that Casino Royale is a stand alone film, it wasn't so its fate is clearly tied to the sequel and the sequels fate is clearly tied to the final installment. Where is the final installment? Bond 24? Among the reasons talked about for why Bond 23 had to have Daniel Craig was to complete the trilogy, unless it is complete misdirection they lied.
I am not concerned overly about Craig's return except it is a long hiatus following up one of the worst Bond films in history. I am not sure he should come back or if he can recapture what he had in Casino Royale. I suspect Casino was a complete fluke nothing Craig has done before or since suggest he can pull off a performance like Casino again.

I think that press conference is now banned under the Geneva Convention. They were using it to torture people.

They cut out the part where Barbara stumbles
I going over the news there is not much new to talk about, however one aspect of the pictures stuck me the combo of the hair and whatever the hell that was on his face and possibly the awful suit Craig looks so much older. Gray man is what I think of.
