new bond
new bond
I'm new to the form, but have looked through a few candidates I don't believe Radcliffe has had a good look at. He is young and can carry the franchise for a number of years, he has experience in playing a hero. I do not know whether he had been discussed as a option but believe he should be a strong contender.
Re: new bond
Welcome to the forum, Julz. I think Radcliffe is a little too "nice" to play Bond. I'm not convinced he could pull off the darker aspects of the character.

I've seen a few of his movies that are darker. Maybe. If he really has the acting chops he could pull it off.

He is quite short too. But he does not have the looks problem Craig has.

The public is less prone to type-casting nowadays. If Radcliffe was six feet, he would certainly be a better Bond than Craig. Also, if he's a better actor than Craig, that's a plus, too. But yes, he would have to wait a few years to play even a young James. Btw, has anyone seen the film Age of Adeline. It features Harrison Ford, plus an actor who is his spitting image as a young man (you can see him on YouTube). Just thinking is there an actor on YouTube doing Bond impersonations/ or resembles one of the Bond actors?

Oops, type of error message. the 'quote' above, attributed to the honourable Omega, was from yours truly. Addendumb: I didn't realize that Radcliffe was so tiny, having not seen him in newer films, and assuming he would 'age upwards' from his Harry Potter days.
