I knew he wasn't in the best of health, but this came as a shock nonetheless. RIP.

Oh no. A lovely man who provided some great movie moments.
Re: RIP Richard Kiel
Sir Roger Moore has said that he is "totally distraught" at the death of his James Bond co-star Richard Kiel who has died aged 74.
Kiel, who played steel-toothed villain Jaws in two James Bond films, appeared with Sir Roger on BBC Radio 4's The Reunion only last week to talk about the films.
Sir Roger, 86, said: "I am totally distraught to learn of my dear friend Richard Kiel's passing. We were on a radio programme together just a week ago. Distraught.
"Can't take it in."
Kiel, who was 7ft 2in tall, died at a hospital in California.

Re: RIP Richard Kiel
Family of a close childhood friend meet him. I want to say it was some time in the 80s. He came into their small family run business and was treated like major Hollywood star who came to a Podunk town. Don't know if it bothered him at all but he treated everyone graciously taking pictures with anybody who wanted one. They still had the picture of him on their wall last time I visited. Everyone who met him talks about how wonderful he was.
He was an ineradicable human being I'm glad we got to know of him through Bond. Rest in peace.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

RIP Richard
It seems strange his image synonymous with 007 yet only featured in two movie. He was deservedly a household name.
Rest in peace.

Very sad - a top Bond villian. He did lots of bits such as appearing in the classic Twighlight Zone episode To Serve Man.
