UK box office is at an estimated $130.5 mil............which when all is said and done, will probably be around $128 mil actual.

Yes.....SP has done its best in China........like most places the reviews were meh.......it is expected to finish there around $90 mil.

Did u see i posted a Chinese BO link for you above?

The terror attacks in France, have literally killed off BO for all films there.

It looks like it will be between you and me Mr O, as to who is the closest with the BO estimate for SP...........but we will have to wait weeks yet, until all the tiny sums of money are added up! :)
Thanks for the link I found a place in Chinese which must be accurate because the had the weekend numbers yesterday , but the place I found is in Chinese so it was hard to figure out which figure represented what

Image http://www.boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/ ... sbonds.htm Cr-egg's 4 film chart shows a worrisome dilemma for Broccoli now in the USA........Boxofficemojo: 'Speaking of Spectre, the latest Bond film has shown some "serious signs of slowing" over the past few days. Last weekend it was $20 million ahead of where Quantum of Solace was at the same point in its release, but this weekend Spectre dipped 56.7% for an estimated $14.6m squeezing that lead to only $12.3 million. The release of Hunger Games this weekend didn't help and the release of Creed (which is great by the way) this coming Wednesday won't either.'

With the worldwide total now at $678,246,608, how much higher can it possibly go? Japan and South Africa are the last markets to be released in by December 4.

It suffered a 72.6% second weekend drop in China. Figures for its opening weekend in India aren't up on Box Office Mojo yet, though I'm not expecting a huge boost to the total, as Indian cinemagoers tend to prefer their own domestic product to Western movies. Meanwhile, Mockingjay Part 2 was the #1 movie in South Africa, but only made $450,000, so I wouldn't expect a big boost there, either. I must confess, I was a little surprised how small the South African box office market was, considering that it has a population only slightly smaller than Britain's, and is fairly prosperous, at least by African standards.

From Box Office Mojo:

DAD - 27,584,000 (20,689,700)
CR - 25,428,700 (17,691,000)
QOS - 23,449,600 (19,696,200)
SF - 37,842,000 (27,471,300)
SP - 17,903,200

SP is currently in its 17th day of release as I type this, so figures in brackets for the previous films are number of tickets sold by day 17.

Thanks kris!!! What are the parentheses numbers?

Here are the numbers I saved from before, I updated them for 2015 using BO MOJO average ticket price.

GE US Admissions: 24.7 million
Overseas Admissions: 56.5 million
$677 million using BO MOJO average 2015 ticket price, not counting Imax effect or China.

TND US Admissions: 27.3 million
Overseas Admissions: 48.2 million
$630 million again no Imax no china

TWINE US Admissions: 25.1 million
Overseas Admissions: 52.0 million
$643 million again No imax no china

DAD US Admissions: 27.8 million
Overseas Admissions: 47.2 million
$656 million

CR - 25,428,700 (17,691,000)

QOS - 23,449,600 (19,696,200)

SF - 37,842,000 (27,471,300)

SP - 17,903,200 So far

I get the rest up to date later I know we had batter CR and QOS total numbers. But honestly there is only one real movie that is out of the normal, Skyfall, the next the break the pattern in a bad way are QOS and SP so far. But SP has so much going for it number of screens and imax and china among many things.

Creed is out and I'm hearing a lot about it, I'd almost bet the sp bo will be gutted starting today. Making less than snoopy in a school holiday week is bad enough. Now creed and hunger games come in to take bond out before Star Wars has the chance

MGM/Ion/Sony’s Spectre targeted an estimated $2.66M yesterday in No. 4, +22% at 2,940 runs. Heading into the holiday, 007 shedded 719 screens as the competition heats up. Cume for Spectre is at $160.7M, which is trailing Skyfall at the same point in time by 29%. By Thanksgiving eve that film had bagged $227.16M. By Sunday, Spectre is projected to be at $176M.

Yay, it overtook a movie that cost half as much to make, and there are still all those $$$ from Japan and South Africa to come.

MI5 only appeared to cost "less" than Spectre because the main cost of the film--Tom Cruise--is paid out of the gross rather than as a top line cost (as, for example, Craig is paid).

Cruise is entitled to first dollar gross on the MI films. His gross profit participation used to be 23% but it may have come down (23% of first dollar gross on MI5 would've gotten him about $160 million). Still, it's extremely unlikely he made less than $100 million on MI5. You tack that on to the other costs and you get $250 million in production costs, about the same as Spectre.

That's still $100 million less than SPECTRE.
