What I think is missing from this take is any empathy for anyone other than white working-class men. What about the pain of the families who will be torn apart by Trump's mass deportation program? Or the women and minorities who will become second-class citizens again once his administration rolls back 60 years of civil rights legislation? Not only do Trump's supporters not care, they delight in the suffering of those they deem to be below them in the God-ordained natural hierarchy.

Why do think he won so huge and INCREASED his support from both women and minorities? Women and minorities could afford to buy groceries under Trump and now are skipping meals under Biden's policies.
