read a release from the sanders lawyer basically saying trumps attorney general is after the sanders, ok that's a fine bogeyman except it was Clinton democrats who started the investigation into the independent senator running as a democrat wife and the obama admin justice department pursuing the case.

I still don't believe she necessarily did anything wrong.

The video was released by O'Keefe's Project Veritas a day after three CNN employees resigned over a deleted and retracted story about Russia, which was first reported by BuzzFeed News. In the video, the producer, John Bonifield, is recorded discussing CNN's editorial focus on the investigations into the Trump campaign's possible connections to Russia.

Bonifield is recorded saying that CNN dedicated airtime to the Russia investigations for ratings — but that he personally believes the story is "mostly bulls**t right now."

"We don't have any big, giant proof," he said. "I just feel like they don't really have it, but they want to keep digging. And so the president is probably right to say, 'look, you are witch hunting me. You have no smoking gun, no real proof.'"

I wouldn't trust James O'Keefe if he told me that the sky was blue.

He's edited his stuff before to be as damning as possible. What I heard sounded unedited but I don't know for 100% it fits what I think is happening at CNN

This is the latest part of a sordid situation reportedly being investigated by the FBI, and one that threatens any hope of another presidential run for the socialist senator.

Records obtained by Judicial Watch offer more insight into the time when Jane Sanders was president of Burlington College in Vermont, between 2004-11. Sanders’ push to expand the college is reportedly being investigated by the FBI, namely the allegation by Vermont blog VTDigger that she said she had $2.6 million in pledged donations in her loan application when in fact she had only half a million pledged.

Sen. Sanders himself is also reportedly part of the investigation over allegations he put pressure on bank officials over the loan. Sanders denies the accusations and has called the claims “pretty pathetic.”

But Judicial Watch now reports that the parcel of land that Jane Sanders eyed for the college’s expansion included a group home for disabled people. Part of the deal was that she negotiate the transfer of the residents before the college took the property.

However, the watchdog reports that she tried to kick them out of their home instead. The report cites a letter to the group’s attorney in which she says, “It is simply not fair to expect the College to continue to carry the burden of the expenses associated with housing both your population and ours until February 2012.”

Eleven counties in California have more than 100 percent of their eligible voters registered to go to the polls.

According to the Washington watchdog organization, the counties are Imperial (102 percent), Lassen (102 percent), Los Angeles (112 percent), Monterey (104 percent), San Diego (138 percent), San Francisco (114 percent), San Mateo (111 percent), Santa Cruz (109 percent), Solano (111 percent), Stanislaus (102 percent) and Yolo (110 percent).

The only county that Trump won out of these was Lassen County. Hillary Clinton won the other 10 by various margins.

A Virginia high school sent a disturbing letter to parents and students announcing they would be selecting students for Advanced Placement and honors classes at least partly based on skin color, a concerned parent told Fox News.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller issued grand jury subpoenas seeking testimony from public relations executives who worked on a lobbying campaign organized by Paul Manafort, "including the Podesta Group."

The Podesta Group, co-founded by former chairman of Hillary Clinton’s campaign John Podesta, was one of six lobbying firms who worked on Manafort’s campaign between 2012 to 2014 to get the Ukraine into the European Union, NBC News reported.

“One executive whose firm received a subpoena” told NBC News that Mueller’s team is closely examining the lobbying campaign that the Podesta Group was part of.

If the Nation gets it, that's all the Democrats and Republicans need to know :!: NOTHING THERE :!: The Nation is the oldest continuously published weekly magazine in the United States, and the most widely read weekly journal of liberal/progressive political and cultural news, opinion, and analysis. It was founded on July 6, 1865, as a successor to William Lloyd Garrison's The Liberator, with the stated mission to make an earnest effort to bring to the discussion of political and social questions a really critical spirit, and to wage war upon the vices of violence, exaggeration, and misrepresentation by which so much of the political writing of the day is marred.

So basically Russia-gate are the new birthers taken mainstream.

Thing that bothers me is how willing both political parties are to be tool for the “intelligence” agencies.
Greenwald made some good points recently about the claims the agencies made about Wikileaks. And the claim of Russia this or that buying internet ads and trolling.
I hope they actually investigate find the leaks sources because I believe a young man was murdered over it. And both parties have had very close ties to Russia recently, podesta for instance really might be compromised.

I've been saying that for a long time. Except that birtherism was never used to justify censorship in the name of countering "Russian interference". Not overt censorship you understand. I'm referring to things like Google adjusting its algorithm to make it harder to find alternative news sites.

Their always is some form of censorship out there, always some group think that sets the standard for cultural behavior that you can’t dare go against without being labeled something scandalous . This Russia business is crazy, the same people who complained about the patriot act and other state spy powers now want to use those powers to forcibly make sure everybody is on the same page by disallowing free speech and free thinking. The news media runs with rumors as fact based journalism because some party hack in a government building says so.

I’m not sure if it proves the concept of deep state or not, definitely proves that there is an establishment in government power centers who think they are justified to interfere in how the news and policies are made. And strangely the media is ok with that, hell they are part of it.
