Denzel Washington

 Denzel Washington wants to be the next James Bond!

Wow, this could open up a big can of worms...

Yeah Denzel isnt at all Bond. Of Idriss Elba was 10 years younger hed be a much better candidate for "first black James Bond" if there was a desperate shortage of white male British actors.

I like Idriss. Denzel is too American. Besides I've seen his spy movies and they sucked.

I saw the equaliser ads, I sort if think he and liem neeson should have swapped movies.

Neeson or Brosnan would be good equalisers. I'm still going to see denzel's movie anyway

He must be getting on a bit by now too, I'd have thought.

He's almost 60. While Craig looks it.

No question he can do a better job than Craig I think there are too many problems with him to ever be considered.

Pierce put in Colin Salmon name during the DAD commentary.

My first priority is for James Bond 007 to return.I sincerely hope we avoid another casting mistake however at this point I am almost ready to welcome a new actor no matter who.

A friend of mine has met Salmon a few years back, he's certainly a good old chap with friendly humour. When asked about a "black actor" being cast as Bond, he laughed and said "No, it it's never happening."

If you want the new actor who is not another casting mistake, then Babs has to to go. Otherwise, you might as well have someone who looks less Bond than DC is as Bond himself.

The DAD commentary, where Brosnan clams that Dr No was the first Bond book. It makes me cringe.

The irony is he spent next few years trying to make Casino Royale.

Being in the hoopla of the fortieth he was probably wavering between 'Casino Royale? Dr No? But Dr No was the first movie? I don't want to seem stupid so I better go with the movie.' :)

I'm slightly surprised the 007 authoritarian Daniel Craig has not graced the world with his thoughts for 2 solid hours in commentary form. Althou he would be exhausted trying to cobble together a coherent dialogue. ;)

In an alternate universe Dr No was a flop and a few minor Bond films and tv were made. Now in 2014 Denzil appears as American agent James Bond in a new thriller.....

That is the only was he could be Bond.
Bring back Bond!
