A New Jersey schools superintendent was arrested Monday when officials discovered he had been defecating on a high school football field “on a daily basis,” police said.

Thomas Tramaglini, 42, was charged with lewdness, littering and defecating in public, police said Thursday. The Kenilworth schools superintendent was arrested after surveillance video caught him in the act on Holmdel High School’s football field.

The story about scientist David Goodall aged 104 (RIP) who decided to end his life at an assisted dying clinic in Switzerland reminds me of Soylent Green where Edward G Robinson's character visits a euthanasia clinic and dies while classical music is playing.

In the article it even said:

And in his final minutes, he [Goodall]listened to Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, best known for its last movement Ode to Joy, reportedly passing away shortly after the piece of music finished.

RIP Burt Reynolds. Apparently he turned down the role of Han Solo and James Bond.

Burt was great, but I'm kind of glad they didn't go down the route of casting a big American star like him or Clint Eastwood as Bond.

George H W grab ass bush is dead. He was an American patriot I just don’t appreciate him setting up a political dynasty while he was at it.

RIP Sondra Locke. She's mainly known as the former Mrs Clint Eastwood, but according to the obituaries, she was a promising director in her own right until Clint sabotaged her career. I have to say, he comes across as kind of a douche in these accounts.

I haven’t read all of the stories but some of it I take as sour grapes after a break up. I’m not sure what she was expected trying to get directing gigs from Clint as some sort of settlement when not even Sean Connery could get movie deals from the bond studios to make two small budget movies he wanted as part of his contract for two bond movies starting with DAF. Hollywood is already poisoned against female directors even today, from what little i under stand I’m not sure what Clint Eastwood was supposed to do to make her career happen. His directing career wouldn’t happen until much later, his success where he could make anything he wanted wouldn’t be until much much later.
AFAIK In 1980s Hollywood he wasn’t much of a player, lots of names come before Eastwood as a power to get things made in 80s Hollywood

IMHO remembering his films like outlaw Josie Wales as monumental is colored through modern impression, westerns were on the out and this was his claim to fame, he never really broke out of this Mould until he got credit for directing . But my impressions of him are from the last half of his career where he was a directing powerhouse making films like million dollar baby.

I am not a big Clint Eastwood fan, I could believe behind his honest good guy image he’s a real prick. But I can’t help but feel some of this PR about Eastwood is to piss on his parade as his new movie is coming out.

From what I've read, Eastwood set up some sort of sham deal with Warner Bros that nominally gave her a contract to direct, but WB turned down over 30 films that she proposed. She sued for fraud, and WB settled out of court. Make of that what you will.

Still why should she get any deal just because she shaked up with him while married (gay or not) ?

She is a perfect example of feminist of her era, a lot of Hollywood actresses of the 70-80s share many of the same stories. Abortions and other things supposedly at Eastwood’s demand could have been her own preference for the sake of her career believing as many of the actress did during that time if they had a kid they were dead in Hollywood.

When the empowerment they way those 79s feminist wanted didn’t work out they blame the man closest to them.
Maybe she was 100% on the level, or believes she is. I still don’t see WB giving the creative mind behind ratboy free reign on any project, I also don’t think Eastwood was all that important to them at that time. However I was wrong about when Eastwood’s directing career began, he was making movies before I thought he was, might by why his live in lover thought she could be a director too.

I’m sure this spring of planed similar stories is timed as her last FU to Eastwood and WB, maybe they both deserve it.

My reaction being a generation later reading her life story is of more disbelief than acceptance she was some sort of brilliant powerhouse kept down by Eastwood.
