I made a Thai green curry for dinner last night and it was GOOD. One of the best things I've ever made, and it was easy, too.The trick is to cook it on a low heat for a long time. Also, it was vegetarian(well, the chicken stock I used wasn't) but I didn't put chicken or anything in and it was perfectly delicious!

I've been in a sandwich mood lately. Too hot to turn the oven on or use the microwave.

ImageJoey Chestnut continued his dominant run through the world of competitive eating, winning his eighth Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest in a row by eating 61 hot dogs in 10 minutes. He defeated Matt Stonie by five hot dogs.

Chestnut took the lead early, but Stonie rallied back and took the lead with about six minutes left. The two traded the lead for the next few minutes and were tied with 1:13 left. But Chestnut pulled away from there.
Chestnut has now won every Nathan's contest since 2007, when he ended Takeru Kobayashi's six-year winning streak. Chestnut's 61-hot-dog performance this year put him eight shy of his own world record of 69, which he set last year.

In addition to his eighth straight contest win, Chestnut also proposed to his girlfriend on stage before the contest began. She said yes.

Soudns like good times!

I love the smell of the food cooking, the clutter and crowds in the kitchen I could do with out. Mixed with all the kids running about it gets wild.
