probably something to this. Sees like they will make a movie out of a somewhat popular book series but no original scripts .Kristatos wrote:I think part of the problem is that people won't take a chance on anything that isn't based on an existing property. So the only way to create better roles for female and/or nonwhite actors is by gender or racebending existing characters, rather than creating new iconic characters for them.

You can't have both the traditional Bond actor and the b1tch. It's either one or the other.bjmdds wrote:Oh he does, as long as the 'b-tch' has limitations, right FBF?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Colin Kaepernick, who has been mired in a quarterback controversy with Blaine Gabbert to see who will lead the 49ers this season, may have sparked a real controversy Friday night. Kaepernick did not stand for the national anthem before the 49ers preseason game at Levi's Stadium, although the move went unnoticed by most at the time. ProFootballTalk.com reported the story more than an hour after the game, and no reporters asked Kaepernick about it following the 49ers 21-10 loss to the Packers. Kaepernick explained his stance during an interview with NFL.com: "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color," he said after the game. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder." That stance will not sit well with many fans, however, and Kaepernick is sure to hear the boos in opposing stadiums as the media shines the spotlight on his decision. -------(you can get this lowlife creature out of here now!)

It's at around $600 million worldwide. I don't think it's going to reach a billion, especially without a Chinese release, but it might do Guardians of the Galaxy numbers by the end of its run. I have to confess, it took me by surprise too. I thought it was going to bomb.Omega wrote:I'm impressed suicide squad is still hanging in the top 3

Harry Fujiwara known to WWE fans as Mr. Fuji, died Sunday morning. The five-time WWE World Tag Team Champion was known for his black tuxedo and bowler hat and his trademark move of grabbing a handful of salt (hidden in a small bag in his tights) and throwing it in the eyes of his opponents to "blind" them.

Chris Hemsworth is the NEW name in the frame to bag the role of James Bond
Thor star Chris Hemsworth should be the next James Bond – according to 007’s stunt double.
Bobby Holland Hanton, a stunt co-ordinator and professional stuntman labelled the Aussie hunk “head and shoulders” above the competition and said: “Chris is in a league of his own.”
Hemsworth would be the second Australian to play the character, after George Lazenby in 1969.
The award winning stuntman, who appeared on three Bond films alongside Daniel Craig explained: “I am in the middle of filming Thor Raganok with Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston and Idris Elba. The buzz and my opinion is that it’s Chris Hemsworth for Bond. He would be perfect. I am not being biased in any way.
“I think he would be perfect for it, and he has got a fantastic English accent as everyone knows from his performance in Rush.
“He has obviously got the physical shape. Tom is also training and hard at it in his own gym, but Chris is in a league of his own when it comes to physique.”
“I was lucky enough to work on Skyfall and again Spectre. My experience on the Bond films are always great..
"I hope I get a chance to work on the next and to be Chris’ double as the new Bond.”
