Maybe Pascal is the only person who has considered Idris for Bond and that is where the rumour comes from.

Pascal should be fired and the sooner the better too Sweenster, to send Broccoli a message that the creative walls are closing in on her. Cr-egg's era started out anew, gritty, and Bourne-like. After all of Broccoli's attempts to redefine Bond in her image, she started to come back to the fold with the Aston Martin(which looked out of place in SK-Awful) and a male M, working behind a leathered doorway entrance. Now Spectre is back, so what did the idiot accomplish coming full circle with a ridiculous time frame whereby we will meet people already killed off 30 years ago :!: Pascal and Broccoli deserve canning, and not in the soup kind.

Image These 2 losers are what I deal with living in NYC. It's very bad here now between police and the Occupy Wall Street backed protests and the police. Sharpton is now going after Pascal and Deblasio should be removed from office after 3 more years for incompetence as mayor. Liam Neeson is doing battle with Deblasio as well to save horse drawn carriages in Central Park too. There will be a lot more trouble in my city until Deblasio and Sharpton get out of the way.

Sony does not have much to say about who is 007. They had the right to say something about Daniel before Cubby's daughter hired him because as i understood the situation they were acting with the full rights of a half owner because of their deal with MGM. Their deal with 007 now is I believe only as a part finical backer who as a reward has a sweet deal distributing the movie.

MGM is the half owner of the DanJaq rights who also own Casino Royale and Thunderball.

The Thunderball Rights they only recently acquired is essentially the only reason they can use Spectre or Blofeld.

As I remember the claim Thunderball was the first 007 script Cubby and Saltzman had geared up to make, problem was Ian did not actually own it so the team moved to Dr No which they did have the rights too. However a great many aspects of the Thunderball script were adapted to Dr No. At least that is what the blighter McClory claimed.

Sweeney as a former Sony employee are you worried over the data the hackers stole on employees?

Is it really so serious that people who have not worked for Sony have to be on guard?

It was quite a long time ago since I worked there (2007), and I doubt there would be anything of any worth from my email inbox from that time.
It wasn't a particularly nice place to work either. I hated every minute of working there.

Let Pascal do anything she wants in casting the first black Bond. There's nothing to care for the franchise anymore. You might as cast a robot as Bond.

If we did end up with a robot, at least we'd have a Bond with more charm and charisma than we do currently...

The 1967 Casino Royale has become the new blueprint for the series, where anyone can play James Bond.

The 1967 version beat them to the punch, it was ahead of its time.

Pascal is done, so she's not a factor. That ship has sailed.
However, I invite everyone to go read more Bond absurdity in the MARVEL UNIVERSE email that talks about the strategy for that, where they talk about who to approach for Bond too. https://twitter.com/BikiniRobotArmy
This twitter has VARIOUS batches. ANd it has screenshots of the actual emails. Go read the Marvel Universe strategy one. Scroll down and there's a whole bunch of Bond emails. ALL TERRIBLE in their content and with a huge quantity of (VERY BAD) spoilers.

Sony has threatened Twitter over this, so it may disappear soon.

I MUST quote this from Amy Pascal on Javier Bardem (now we know why he was hired to do the last non Bond)

Email from Pascal to Elizabeth Cantillion
"How is Hawaii.
Do you think I will meet Javier when I get to Bali and he will call me darling."

SERIOUSLY?!!?! I expect the same kind of comment and tone from Babz B when she talks about the Craigster.

So Amy Pascal doesn't like Michael Fassbender. Could this be why we didn't get him as Bond?
