When Broccoli goes, FBF will return Actors Daniel Craig, center, and Rory Kinnear, left, and director Sam Mendes, right, laugh with onlookers as they film a scene on a canal for the new James Bond movie, SPECTRE, in London, Tuesday. Ajay Chowdhury of the James Bond International Fan Club said the Bond franchise would survive the leak, but the attack was damaging. "If this can happen to Sony it can happen to other studios," he said. "It is a form of economic warfare." ..........Ajay, a quick question, can the franchise survive Cr-egg? Check out the paltry posting by "supposedly" 1499 members on that forum: http://www.007.info/forum/ This is who the press gets a quote from? Why not us? The vodka martini will return: Bond's favourite cocktail set to appear in Spectre after luxury brand announces partnership with film makers:
Sony Pictures has signed a multi-million pound deal with Belvedere Vodka
It means Vodka Martini – shaken, not stirred – will be back on 007's menu
Bond was last seen guzzling Heineken thanks to a £30m advertising deal
Companies to have signed up to feature in the film include Aston Martin, Bollinger, Jaguar Land Rover, Omega, Sony Electronics, and Sony Mobile

I drink neither. Beer only if there's literally nothing else and I can't finish it, if I taste it, it disgusts me. It needs to be ice cold so I really can't taste it. And Vodka straight? EEEW! No. Vodka is only meant to be in cocktails. Preferably a strawberry caipiroska.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Oh were we saying? Now Sony gave the OK to theatre owners to NOT show The Interview. They are essentially pulling the movie without saying they are. And they're doing this because this way, should something happen, theater owners are responsible because they had a choice. Also, the real reason for this is that the movie did HORRIBLY with sample audiences. Not to mention, this allows them to blame it entirely on theaters, should something happen if they show the movie. They gave theaters the option to CHOOSE whether to show the movie or not. If something happens, it's on them. Transparent and pathetic.

I'm not sure if Warner Bros. would be a gooid fit with Bond. A lot of their films are super serious "no jokes" stuff. If they took over I could see us just ending up with another lame, uncharasmatic Craig clone.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
That's the point. They want to "evolve" the character, so they have to change some details. Back then, he didn't give a d**n if he was to drink shaken or stirred martinis (no one drinks stirred martinis. Lol! Ask Seth MacFarlane ), but now it's time to swap the drinks because they're bored with martinis. So, it's Vodka Beer, now. LOL!!! I wouldn't be surprised if Bond switches his suits for hoodies.Alessandra wrote:That is disgusting just to think of! LOLJohn P. Drake wrote:Vodka Beer. Straight up with a twist!

They kind of did the same thing in Skyfall, where they make an exploding pen joke, and then later give Bond the old gadget-laden Aston Martin DB5. The Craig era seems confused with what it really wants to be at times.Alessandra wrote:Oh IMAGINE: Now after they SPAT on one of the most famous lines Bond utters (Shaken, not stirred) we are back to Vodka Martinis the way Bond wants them? Bond has martins back whoop dee doo, now can we go back to bond being fun again, suave, ott villains and get Me hyped again instead of wanting to bang My head into a wall whilst I type this and could we get bond girls actually emerging from the water this time instead of bond (pukes).
Name's shite, crock of shite, sadly too many people will be up in arms defending this once great franchise as but no you don't understand this is how he always...(I'm sounding like a broken record).
What next will bond learn to take his first steps and say his first words.... , this crock of shite will still make a lot of money just like shitefall and be heraled a success just because of that, there's no quality anymore, there's just quantity and like a certain quantum it makes no sense to Me, give Me the marvel movies over this pretentious soul searching life is unfair tripe anyday (I'm depressed enough as it is), give Me a reason to want to watch bond again eon, fact that I have to force Myself to watch the newer ones today says it all.
As fbf on fb said it's insulting enough they even got an oscar for skyfall, oscars have lost their meaning today.
James bond used to be a male fantasy now god knows what it is anymore, I'll take agents of shield as that male fantasy now and funnily enough Coulson has the right amount of class bond used to have and more people would rather be coulson today.
Bond....James bond....Rest in peace (1964-2002)

Shaken you are correct. Coulson is way more cool than Cr-egg's decrepit and depressed Bond. The only species on this planet that wants to be like Cr-egg are simians in a zoo who are envious of him only because he is not in a cage and they are, not for his intelligence, which the simians outsmart Cr-egg in.

No one other than MGM should take over Bond. And Warner Bros isn't a good fit at all as far as I'm concerned. No one is, other than MGM. They made the original and they can do it again.
The real problem here is BABS. SHE is the real problem. Without Pascal's support, her importance will be greatly diminished, but it would take some nice other email leak showing her bratty incompetence to rid us of her.
Also, heads are gonna roll at the State Department too over The Interview fiasco, given this latest leak:

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
We shall see. Because see below...
What I predicted happened. Sony pulled "The Interview" and of course they're blaming theaters and hackers for it. Except they let ALL the mess happen, they endangered their own employees and ONLY pulled it now because it polled AWFULLY with sample audiences. THAT is the truth. Idiots going on about "censorship" need to shut up and understand that this isn't about censorship at all, it's about the utter incompetence of a bunch of monkey executives who should NEVER have gone ahead with this project in the first place. On top of which there's the fact that Sony DID KNOW about the hacks. THEY HAD KNOWN FOR A YEAR. Bloomberg reported it. NOT TMZ. BLOOMBERG. Everyone needs to miss me with the utter garbage thinking about this.
Reality: Sony has incompetent, racist people at the helm. THEY KNEW the movie was a bad idea from the start and there are DOZENS of emails proving it. They kept going with it out of sheer incompetence and Hollywood stupidity. PERIOD. Just because "oh it's Seth Rogen" (I'd like to bloody understand why this guy has any clout in Hollywood when he is a mediocre comedian and an equally mediocre actor) so it had to be made. Utter lunacy.
So given this, there's once again definite chance that OTHER major things change. Be patient. We shall see. NO ONE is untouchable, and that includes Miss Babs.

It's both. They get to play the victim angle and they waited this long (thus it's too little too late) just because they wanted to see how the movie polled. Now that they're CERTAIN it will bomb, they have scrapped ANY plans for even a digital release. Does anyone in their right mind think that, had they seen an even remote possibility for profit, they'd have scrapped this? PRETTY PLEASE!!Omega wrote:Sony canceled the interview release . I wholeheartedly concur. She is the biggest problem with Bond these days, more so than Craig in my opinion. If it weren't for her we wouldn't have ended up with him anyway.Alessandra wrote:The real problem here is BABS. SHE is the real problem.

I have long said that Craig is a symptom, not the cause. He has said many times that he would love to do a more traditional Bond film, but he has been cast into this straitjacket of being "the serious Bond".Kiwichris wrote:I wholeheartedly concur.
