I've been watching china for some time IMHO not being an expert it seems the companies who play well with china as Disney has tend to have bigger takes not that the Chinese hand the money over last story I saw said for 2012-2013 all those China Bo were not paid out.

It also could be the movie is good and only one of maybe 20 Hollywood films that might make it there.

Seriously IMHO it appears if the government approves the better the movie may do, not that china doesn't have the population to make blockbusters, it doesn't seem to be a real market place yet. I mean it appears the government controls keep the public from choosing freely.

Happy Easter and Passover!

Hope every one has a chance to celebrate with their families! Important parts of the religious calendar commemorating important religious events but also a good reason to hold those near to us close.

Katie we will be lifting your dad up in our prayers.

A much better religious movie than God's Not Dead.

My opinion of Captain America 2 is: Marvel's version of Three Days Of The Condor, with Robert Redford involved in both films. It was more appealing than ANY Iron Man film to date.

Depp has a major bomb, he is one if those actors people will not pay to see in certain movies.

Happy Easter, everyone!

Saw the Amazing Spider-Man 2 yesterday. Bar one or two niggles, I enjoyed it. As it was an Odeon Cinema they had this weird quiz thing that ran through the adverts, one of them was about Skyfall.

The UK Film Distributor’s Association now reports that Warner’s still-untitled Batman/Superman movie will avoid going head-to-head with Captain America 3 by opening earlier overseas – specifically, on April 29, 2016.

That actually happens quite a lot. We got to see The Dark Knight Rises before anyone else in the world did here in NZ. I can't wait to see that Batman/Superman movie. Still have concerns about that guy playing Lex Luthor though.
