By my calculations, that's a 1 in 17,307 chance of catching it once you've been vaccinated.

HBO has scrapped this week’s episode of Real Time with Bill Maher after the comedian tested positive for Covid-19. Maher, who is vaccinated and asymptomatic, tested positive during the premium cable network’s weekly PCR testing ahead of the show........Maher was one of the unlucky ones it looks like if his odds were 1 in 17,307.

We have someone at work who caught covid again, assuming both tests are correct. I think she said she had antibodies just back in March.I may be think of somebody else in that department.

The vaccine is supposed to be what get us back to “normal” by the end of may. Don’t see it happening even by end of summer.

We have family in a state where public schools changed the mask policy as the school year winds down, suddenly an uptick in kids getting sick, though not with covid. Seems like the other crud kids get were not making the rounds with face masks.


I’ve been watching Hollywood eat their own trying to figure out how to bring bo back. Not going to happen any time soon. Godzilla makes the best case but second week drop is killing every movie that struggles to make $10 million over three days.

Our viewing has changed we now hit the streaming services to see what’s new we’d like to see. Black widow was our big must see but It’s moved and I don’t know if I’ll pay $30 to rent. I’d pay thirty to rent but have added to our digital locker upon release.

Dune is October and that had been a HBO max promise date for summer, John wick and matrix four are pushed back.

Talking of beasts, I just got back from watching Godzilla vs Kong. Great fun, and I'm glad I saw it on the big screen. But, and I swear I am not making this up, there was a trailer for NTTD beforehand, and when the release date came up on the screen, I heard a voice behind me saying "Oh yeah? Pull the other one."
