Those TV guides really are spot on, as hard as that is to believe. I mean,I've got 200 plus channels and quite a few of those show movies at least part of the day..I rely on being able to know if they're worth watching(though sometimes the titles of the movies are a dead giveaway!)

It's a good origins film. Better than CR in that respect and has some kick ass special effects!

I think Seagal deserves it more than Downey Jr. does.

Deserves what?

I think Seagal deserves to be rewarded (in bad way) for the bad behavior he has these days.

Craig may be Bond for 10 years technically the way Pierce Brosnan was Bond for 10 years. My gut feeling is if if they do not get production up soon then he isn't coming back and maybe just maybe Bond will return. Is that too much to ask for?

The buzz ( if thee was ever any truth to it) was they were going to change direction with the next film. Craig was unhappy with Quantum and wanted to make a better movie, understandable if he was ever forced to watched Quantum. I have problems with his tenure because of it. About the change in direction I am of 2 minds, the big question was can it fix what was broken? We may never know.
Just to be clear I do not consider the Bond series before Casino Royale to be broken. I think the change Casion Roayle brought was good and inspired but ultimately they had no ideas to back it up. Therein lies the problem, the series is broken after 2 film by Craig. His 3rd outting would either fix it or finally recognize it as a story line that is and always will be irremediable. A reboot for the reboot is in order either way once he decides to leave. So why not get it over with?

In some ways the delay is a blessing in disguise let them either take the time to get it right. Or move on to the next thing, which is what I think might be required.

I always think that Brosnan was Bond until 2005 - but you are right, his reign ended in 2002.
Bring back Bond!

Bond ended in 2005 with Cregg. It's time to revive him with Jackman  and a new owner  .

Johnny Depp is too big of a name. Someone unknown or semi-known would be perfect.

Question for the UK peeps: Centurion, starring Olga Kurlyenko is out in the UK. The reviews I've seen of it haven't been very positive. Has anyone seen it? It doesn't come out here 'till later this year, and I haven't heard anything about a release date for Eagle Of The Ninth, the *other* Roman Legion movie this year.

Has anyone read the book of Eagle Of The Ninth? My 12-year old nephew is doing a unit on Rome in school right now and I thought it might be fun for him to read it; I know it's a kid's book, and he's probably just the right age for it, too.

I haven't seen the film. I read EOT9 when I was a kid, but can't really remember anything about it.

From what I know, seems like EOT9 was/is a popular book for kids-and one they are assigned to read in school.
