Maguire is 34 vs. 23 for Pattinson. What about the English accent or will he sound truly Americanized? Another ruined franchise.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It's all about keeping up with the Joneses-whether it be rebooting a series that doesn't need rebooting, or EON trying(desperately) to give people a better Bond film.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Star Trek needed a reboot and they did it well and cast it well as FBF will attest to. Bond was a horrendously poor 6 minute reboot. Spiderman does not need a reboot after 3 successful films but Pascal feels the tweens will turn out for Pattinson(what about the true comic book lovers?). The Green Hornet with Rogen will bomb terribly for it is a miscast of Craig proprtions and The Green Lantern might be worth a look with a good storyline with Campbell directing it.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Babs and Mikey are trying(and failing) to be relevant.
As I said on another thread,if they did Bond 23D it would be crap and most fans wouldn't like it.There would be a small but vocal group of fans that bully anyone who didn't like it.But you know,I think that is going to happen even if they don't go the 3D route.

As said earlier in the movies section, Pattinson is TOO much of a pretty boy to be Spidey, and I rather have him as Bond instead.bjmdds wrote:Spiderman does not need a reboot after 3 successful films but Pascal feels the tweens will turn out for Pattinson(what about the true comic book lovers?).

With a new Spiderman director selected, will this ruin the franchise or capitalize on the Twilight momentary fascination? I do not think they will gross more than any of the first 3 films did. Why bother? Who will be the new MJ?

Marc Webb(???) with only an $80 million scaled down budget. Pascal sure knows how to ruin greatness, doesn't she?

How evil is this Pascal?bjmdds wrote:Marc Webb(???) with only an $80 million scaled down budget. Pascal sure knows how to ruin greatness, doesn't she?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Webb has only done one full length film....most of the stuff he's done has been music videos.
