Babs has the last say on billing, not the stars of the play. Typical Babs Broccoli behavior.

Why would Craig allow Jackman to have his name first? Depends on who is judged as the bigger star these days. Arguably I would say Craig is.

Another reason could merely be the fact that they have appeared alphabetically.....?

(reminds me of the Towering Inferno cover...who first - McQueen or Newman....and was settled with one name slightly higher on the right than the other).
Craig is the bigger 'star'? Are you being sarcastic Sweene? The guy's career on Brroadway is non-existent. His films have all flopped outside of Bond and QOS was ridiculed by the masses. The reason is his mentor, Barbara 'I ain't eatting celery' Broccoli.

I know this will get some nasty replies but the pro-Craigs wonder why I refer to his relationship with Queeen Babs as "incestuous?". I'm surprised it hasn't been commented on by Broadway insiders.

Not quite "Did he sleep with her to get that job?" but it's pretty close :P :P :P

In my eyes Craig is the bigger star. I haven't seen anything with Jackman in for me to fairly comment on. I don't know how successful his most successful film is against Craig's 2 Bond flicks (particularly CR). Maybe someone can enlighten me?

Although having said that, Jackman did do the Oscars this year, so maybe I'm outta touch with the current goings on in Hollywood.

No, Bond...James Bond.
What are your thoughts on Bond 23 BJ?
Other than the usual 'I'd like to see them revert back to the old 'proper' forumla' answer, where'd you like to see OO7 go?
Imagine Craig quits, and you can re-cast...or he stays and you're stuck with him for another film. What are your thoughts?

Craig's non-Bond movies haven't been successes. Either that or they come up with some sort of issues(The Invasion changed directors at least once, and its relese date was changed several times. They were trying to figure out a way to promote that movie even though it was *dreadful*.

And then there's Flashbacks Of A Fool. It was in ONE movie theater in the States and only for a few days.Ouch.

Jackman is the bigger star and has done lots of work including many big Hollywood films. Craig has just done Casino Royale really, along with a few TV roles and bit parts in films; who can forget his memorable guest appearance in Rosemary and Thyme? I suppose Craig is well known at the moment because of Casino Royale.

Only Babs would give him top billing over Jackman. I wish I had a friend like Barbara - I'd be rich.
Bring back Bond!

 Rosemary and Thyme? Was he in that?
Good for a laugh either way. A good friend of mine said she though those two would be the next Bond Girls because they would make Daniel look good, not near as craggy and haggard as he usually does.

I think Felicity has overdone the botox. She looks like a puppet these days.

Hugh Jackman is obviously a bigger star than David Craig. Take away Barbara and the two Bond films and Craig is like David Morrissey or someone. The difference is that with Craig's notable films (Munich, Tomb Raider, The Golden Compass) he's just a supporting actor. Jackman is, generally, more of a leading man type - Kate & Leopold, Australia, Wolverine, Swordfish, The Prestige.

Agreed. When it comes to acting, Hugh is in a different category to Daniel Craig... who seems to be mired in bit part roles in crap films when he's not playing Bond.

Like I said earlier....you cannot dismiss CR, take it away, etc.

How does CR fare against Jackman's most successful movie at the BO globally?

Tell me what numbers Jackman would have done in his first Bond film.CR was like the Jay Leno show here in the USA. First night ratings due to curiosity were almost 18 million viewers last Monday. One week later, the ratings are all done, the show is over before it started, with a paltry 5.7 million viewers. Bond replacements bring out the crowds their first films. QOS with TWICE as many viewings per day did LESS than CR and Craig will go down as a Bond who did less box office each successive film he does. The 2011 fiasco will probably do less than QOS. Craig's 'career' is NOT aging well Sweenster, contrary to all of your hopes and dreams. I know you really believe Craig will remain popular. From what I have seen and read and heard and as his other films have shown, he is 'nowhere going nowhere'. My disdain for him is well documented as you know. I literally detest his presence on film as a leading man. Broadway will not resurrect The Bourne Mimicry's insult on the public.
