The joke is, Brosnan could work out for a few months, put some hair dye on and still look younger than Craig.

Why does Craig not have black hair for Bond? Because with his face he looks about 60. Look at Infamous. That's why he has that ridiculous blonde mullet for Bond 22.

How can Craig be a young Bond? Are you all mad.

Well you see Carl.
Pierce Brosnan, born 1953. Age 54
Daniel Craig, born 1968, Age 39.

Difference 15 years. Do you see how that works?
It's simple maths really.
God I bet you're glad I'm back.
I can see some of you were lost without me. :P

Daniel Craig said in a recent interview that he hates plastic surgery and that those who have surgery are "freaks".

Be interesting to see what he looks like in a few years! I'll bet Babs will get him booked in for some work - if she hasn't done so already.

That Benny on the MI6 forum seems quite pleasant. Maybe he has a split personality.

No Skywalker, he's really tall and handsome, just how Fleming desrcibed him. He was recently voted by GQ magazine as the most handsome man of the last 100 years.

You can keep your tall Connery, Dalton, Lazenby etc with their dark, handsome good looks. This man is James Bond.

This is a photo of Brosnan on the set of a new tv advert. I think 2004/2005 was his cut-off point for doing another Bond but he still looks good.

The one thing that i will say in support of you anti-Craigers is that i think the only real problem physically with Craig is that he is definitely a bit short, for the sort of Bond i would imagine him to be.

I personally only follow the Bond films, but i know that some of you guys
read the novels........did Fleming ever describe how tall he envisaged his Bond to be?

But one inch.... people could complain that "the man" Seanery didn't have grey-blue eyes...

But they don't.

Sir Rog had sandy brown hair and no comma....

Personally, if there were internet sites back when Lazenby *day dreams a bit*, Moore, Dalton and yes, even Brosnan became Bond, like there are today, you'd have several sites just like this one based on each of those actors.

Does that mean that they were crappy Bonds? NO, it absolutely does not. Does it mean that Craig is a crappy Bond because some people think he is and write about it on a forum? No, it does not. It just means that the people that write about Craig are more vocal and are better able to share their thoughts.

:D

I don't really believe any of the other Bonds would had a protest site when they were first cast as 007. What would they have been complaining about? That Dalton or Lazenby etc was weird looking? Or not very suave?
Just as a Jackman, Owen, Cavill etc would not have had a ...notBond.com in their name.

I agree that DC sometimes looks too diminutive to be 007. As for Fleming, I've read numerous times that he sent a memo to Eon when the series started and stated that James Bond is 6'1.

You really think Lazenby wouldn't have gotten a NotBond.com? :? I agree with Kitty though. Even Moore was a drastic change from Connery so there would have been protest on that. There was actually protest on Dalton (in the USA as far as I am concerned) because of the Americans' fixation on Brosnan being perfect for the role.

However, if there were NotBond sites in their times they probably would have been pretty much the same as DCINB: Not making much of an impact besides being mentioned on CNN on one occasion. Although a LazenbyNotBond would have probably gotten more attention, considering Connery was considered irreplaceable in the role.
