Really? There are over 170,000 views of threads here from the world wide web. What other Bond website has that? MI6 'might' have more members, but do they have the overall steady viewers?

MI6 like to think they're the *best* James Bond website out there. That,of course is debatable. No doubt the enforced break brought their ratings in the world of Bond messgaeboards down(when were they ever at the top, honestly? )

To be honest, not too much, but maybe a little. Given how little activity goes on around here.

I'm not going to stir the pot as you seem to be trying to bj.
Why would Mi6 require a moneypenny.
Besides moneypenny was always efficient and useful.

*Did I say the aloud?*

I'm sure many of the hidden users from this site will be happy to return in the shadows now ktbeu has resumed its normal service.
What would this site be without feeding off the big guns such as CBn and Mi6.

Oh and another criticism of MI6(and it's a valid one)is that every new poster is accused of being Bond_Fan or Pierce_Fan or another troll. That puts people off. And it's not just me, either. :?

Trouble is, that most of the time they're right.
Surely after being found out and turfed out so often. Wouldn't you get the hint?

Just one of the reasons I don't post there anymore. I'm not surprised people don't introduce themselves in the "Introduce yourself" thread, lest they be accused of being a sock puppet. That's kind of a sad comment, no?

Of course there are ways of checking who users are, and if they have a duplicate account.

There are ways to get around it. Not a perfect science at all :?

No, but any problem users are soon found out.
If not by the mods, the longtime veterans of the forums weed out any wrong doers who are not contributing to the forum.
That's usually true of any forum. Not just Mi6.

You're painting all members of Mi6 with the same brush katied, which is unfair.
If anything members who behave and post in a sensible manner, within the guidelines of the forum are made to feel welcome.
There will always be people who don't do that, or disagree with those guidelines.
Without rules there is anarchy.

Painting with the same brush? No.I think you're being unfair to new posters by accusing them of being someone that they're not.But I can't convince you of the fact that that isn't the truth so.. *shrug*

People at MI6 seem to like it that way-the people who have been there have been there for a while have been *trained* to think that way.Actually it's more like a combination of training and brainwashing :?

I found it hilarious that some of the MI6 people dared to show their faces at Commander Bond.Notice that the ones who talked the most smack did NOT show their faces there. They would have gotten laughed out of there.Seriously.

MI6 will always have its defenders here.I just think it's ironic that when there is nowhere else to go, that they will darken Commader Bond's doorstep.

I have a lot of issues with the place-overbearing posters, posters who think that every new poster is a troll...non-existent moderation, among them...

You're so right. And to this day, Auric_Enterprises still gets a lot of flack for being a new user after two months. Give me a break.

Well moderating means being fair. And I certainly do not see a lot of that going on over at MI6 :? I got a warning for using a no-no word over there and yet I saw another poster use the same word and not get in trouble. The way the moderating is done is random(and not in a good way either).
