So far I do like it, but that's pretty much it. It doesn't blow me away but I'm fine with it. I suppose that's because after Die Another Day I'm thankful for anything average. :P

There is no need for super-sized pictures to insult and/or antagonize each other.

We are fairly lenient here with how interactions take place. A bit of bad luck that we happen to be running updates to the forum tonight and these caught our attention.

I've read from a few sources that the theme for the coke advert, is probably an instrumental variation of the main QOS theme.

Would that leniency go as far as katied wishing retrokitty and myself get cancer and die?

As a Bond fan, I would love Blofeld and SPECTRE to come back. I'm obsessed with certain aspects of Bond because I am a fan of the James bond movie series.

It's an integral part of the Bond mythology, from Fleming to the cinematic Bond (before naughty Kevin spoilt it).

It may well be part of the mythology, but do we need SPECTRE and Blofeld back?I don't think so.The Bond franchise is already starting to get a bad rep.If fans want to relive the Blofeld/SPECTRE stuff, they can read the books or watch the old movies.

I wouldn't mind seeing Blofeld and Spectre re-appearing in a future Bond film................as long as it goes with a
well written storyline.

I think you would make a good Blofeld, Arthur - Arthur Blofeld. The Sweeney could be your cat, although having a man dressed in a cat costume would be a departure from the old SPECTRE.

I have no real desire to watch a Bond film as they are right now(but I will see POS so I can write a review)

Modernity(but not overdoing it..all the high tech stuff in POS is terrible)Good actors for one thing. And no lame duck EON.They're one of the biggest problems, moreso than taking a step back.

EON are more likely to side with fans who want the old stuff back. They're floundering, and they'll do anything to get people to see the Bond films. And that includes going back to tried and true formula, unfortunately.

They ARE back captain! Quantum=Spectre;the head of Quantum, once revealed, is Blofeld. Same old idea, but packaging it under a pseudonym. :007:

Isn't that the closest they can get to SPECTRE anyway? I know McClory passed away recently and his family must be holding them now. I wonder if they care enough as much as he did? Either way, EON doesn't have the rights now so all they can do is make a variation of SPECTRE, hopefully in an interesting way with QUANTUM where it doesn't overwhelmingly feels like a retread.

SPECTRE is such a tired concept. If I have to watch a Bond film, I don't want to watch a retread of Bond films past.
