Louis Partridge seems to have put on some muscle and had his hair cut lately. Is this for a Bond audition? He was coy when asked about Bond during the Enola Holmes junket. The bookies don't seem to have noticed the articles alleging that Dickinson is out of the running.

I remember Clive Owen was Amy Pascal‘s choice. But I thought he was never offered obviously they must be newer interviews where they talk about turning down the role. the same with Jackman I didn’t think he actually ever had a firm offer.
I really don’t think anyone else, but Craig had a chance.
I know Sam Worthington supposedly hired in training with guns to be proficient for the role. Then I’m just never went anywhere.

I’m curious if Owen and Jackman actually had the role and, or if it was like someone from the studio approached them without Barbara‘s blessing.

Supposedly the one thing in her original contract gave the broccoli family, the right to choose a casting of bond.

Honestly? It doesn’t feel like 3 hours.

Spider-Man was over two hours and it didn’t feel like a long movie however, if you count in all the advertisements befor the movie begins, you know that was probably a three hour moving so the honesty become like 3 1/2 hours with the commercials.
I think of the old Hallmark Odyssey they made it several nights and it was Armand Assante

I really can’t remember if it was good or not

Richard Osman names Slow Horses favourite as latest James Bond frontrunner



It's hard to keep track of just how many supposed frontrunners there have been for the role of James Bond since Daniel Craig stepped down back in 2021 – and it looks like we can add another name to that list.

According to Richard Osman, Slow Horses favourite Jack Lowden could be in line to be the next 007, with the former Pointless host and Thursday Murder Club author suggesting as much on the latest episode of his podcast, The Rest Is Entertainment.

"The name I’ve heard is Jack Lowden," he said in conversation with co-host Marina Hyde, although he clarified that he didn't think anything was sealed at this point.

"It is definitively not a 'he's definitely got it' thing," Osman said. "He is definitely being strongly considered. I think he'd be amazing."

Hugh Jackman said the Bond producers approached him when he was about to start shooting the second X-Men film but he turned them down because he was too busy and also didn't want to be tied into another franchise. He did say though it wasn't easy to turn down Bond. This presumably would have been in 2002. I'm not sure about Clive Owen. He has said in interviews he was never very interested in the part. I think he called Bond a 'golden prison' for an actor.
