I didn't see the whole thing. What was the flub? I suppose anyone can get tongue-tied at a moment like that, though.

I thought it was because of the guy feeding him the lines. It appeared that he broke before he should have, giving Barack the idea that it was time to speak. Then he spoke over Barack. And neither could recover. But it seemed like it was the other guy's issue, not Barack's.

Our Supreme Court Justice, Roberts messed it up.
(CNN) — Chief Justice John Roberts seemed to have some trouble administering the presidential oath of office Tuesday. Here is the actual oath in full, as laid out in Article II, Section I of the U.S. Constitution:

Barack Obama is sworn in as the 44th US president by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

I never liked roberts something creepy about him. Seemed like he was nervous about being near barack, may be has obama mania too :d

Did any one see Biden's lame attempt at a joke about Roberts? Barack was not happy about it :x

Oh-bama promised change. So far, 6 cabinet picks have either lobbying or tax evasion issues, Biden's mouth is a time bomb waiting to explode, his stimulus package is full of pork galore, and he has numerous Clinton's reps in his staff running the show. A POOR start. He even walked into a window thinking it was a door and the media avoided it like the plague. CNBC, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and CBS are all in his corner and it is quite ridiculous. He voted PRESENT 143 times in Illinois. You cannot do that as President. He looks like a rookie being led by Hillary and her crew. Reid and Pelosi are just what the Oh-bama deserves. We will have worse problems with this administration. 2012 awaits.

Maybe the American people will have a coup and install Hugh Jackman as President.

Arnold is horrendous K-T. This public infatuation with celebrity is what got the Oh-bama elected as well. Substance over celebrity. This so-called stimulus package, excluding rebuilding roads and bridges, is a joke. Within 6 months the economy should start to recover on it's own and this time people will be thankful for a job and not take one for granted. One trillion dollars, including the interest on it, will be the wrong choice. Oh-bama looked pretty flustered on tv as well.

Let Eon have a coup by MGM and oust Craig. That will be fine by most I would think, unless you are on the Craigaholic express.

Hugh has been made Musical Theatre Secretary!

No one knows what to do about the economy at the moment. If Obama has messed it up then I'm sure lots of people in the US will be queing up to put the boot in four years from now.

Hmmm, I don't think people will forget who got us into this mess that quickly.

Barney Frank, Christopher Cox, Meeks,Maxine Waters, and the rest of the government banking and SEC morons that in 2005 told the Republicans to leave Freddy Mac and Fannie Mae alone, when they expressed concern over these sub-prime mortgages. Bush looked the other way too. Fire ALL 535 members of congress.

Most people in Britain talk about the things Obama will do in the next eight years suggesting that he is almost certain to win another term. But if it goes pear shaped and a normal Republican is put up, he could get beaten. I think he will have another term though (that's a daring suggestion!).
