The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
It's safe to say that Crackhouse is out of the running now(even though there are some that think she could record something listenable while she's high.I disagree, obviously.)

I think it was already safe to say that for more than a month already.katied wrote:It's safe to say that Crackhouse is out of the running now

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
And yet some at the place that can't be named want Crackhouse and ONLY Crackhouse to do the theme. The rabidness of some of those people when it comes to Crackhouse is scary

Crackhouse is going to die.Sooner rather than later.Preferably sooner. Is that in bad taste?Too da*mn bad.
Why waste the studio time for a CRACK ADDICT who refuses to get any help for her problems?
And yet she has people foaming at the mouth about her doing the theme for Bond 22 even though she screwed it up by being an addict who looks like she has really bad hygeine(with all the crack she does,I wouldn't be surprised if she forgot and skipped a bath or two.Or three.Or more)

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Again, who cares? She's no longer involved with Bond and the topic has been milked its worth. I think it's best to move on from this crap and look forward to what's really gonna happen rather than something that most likely not.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Well, I find it sad that her fans(some of whom actually want to be drug addicts like her--I actually have read comments online like "I love you Amy and I want to be like you". If that ain't natural selection-a bunch of stupid fans wanting to be drug addicts like Crackhouse-I don't know what is.

Right, so what do you think of Alicia Keys?
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I don't really care about the QOS theme.EON should hire someone who *isn't* a crack addict, though

That is exactly what they're doing now... For someone who claims to hates Winehouse you seem quite obsessed with the topic... Just saying.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I'm concerned by how INSANE people went over her potentially doing the Bond theme,is all.
I do NOT think someone that looks like she's about to keel over from an overdose should do the theme for Bond 22,but that's just me.She obviously doesn't give a cr*ap about herself, since she looks diseased.
But as I said she has people who want to be like her.And that concerns me.A lot of fans want to be like her-complete with the crack addiction and loser junkie husband. That is NOT a good thing(stating the obvious there)but I don't think people should try and dismiss all of her problems.
I guarantee you if it gets to the point that there are a bunch of her fans imitating her,THEN something will be done about Crackhouse. But she's sorta harmless right now(yeah right)and since nobody else(even her family) will do anything else about her ..... let her stagger around so the paparazzi can take pictures of her obviously on a crack bender.

How does everyone feel about the idea of Duran, Duran returning to Bond and working with Ronson? Unlikely to happen but Eon could do a lot worse. I'm not a massive fan but 'A View To A Kill' was pretty good.

I think it would seem a bit retro. Duran Duran are associated with the '80s, and I think they really need someone a bit more 21st century.007 wrote:How does everyone feel about the idea of Duran, Duran returning to Bond and working with Ronson? I like Duran Duran, but they *have* been coastiing on the 80's nostalgia thing for a few years now.OTOH I hear they're still a great live band

Ah yes,Kajagoogoo.A LOT of the 80's bands have been doing the rounds of small clubs and the casino circuit here in the U.S.I'm neither here or there on Alicia Keys.
The job should NOT go to someone who's always in the papers claiming they're doing the theme though.
