Did you enjoy CR at all, or did you hate that too the first time you saw it?

Capt. Sir Dominic Flandry wrote:On the subject of changing one's mind, have a browse though these quotes from MI6:

"Dalton and Brosnan are looking better as they get older."

"Is it me or am I the only one that enjoys LTK and DAD for what they are?

DAD to me is just a tribute, a ridiculous non-stop action Bond film that has lots of easter eggs and such. My only complaints are that it could have been just a simple spy thriller and that they could have used traditional stunts rather than CGI to "bring Bond into the 21st century" like those graphic designers were talking about in interviews (I cringed seeing Brosnan against a bluescreen), but despite those complaints I can still enjoy watching DAD for what it is: Dumb fun.

LTK is a dark different path from the other films. It's not better than TLD but it has certain things more memorable than TLD had like the villian and Bond girls. The villian was more close to those classic villians yet doesn't end up being. The Bond girls here were more tough and usually those are better than compared to Tanya Roberts (OMFG!!!). My complaints for this film is being Dalton's last film, main title theme and Michael Kamen's soundtrack.

Which one of them is better? Hard to say, they're both different films with different style. But I will tell you this: They are not dull like Tomorrow Never Dies."

Those quotes are by our own Stocksilvian, aka Makeshift Python
Couldn't find anything on me though, eh Cap'n...?

About my quotes, opinions do change after years of finally having the UE DVDs (never had any DVD before then) and watching the films, coming to different conclusions through time after discovering something new in the films. Maybe they'll change again, who knows? My top 5 Bond list changes every five months or so, it doesn't happen overnight. However, for one certain person it does, about as easy as flicking the light switch. Who could that be?

You were made for each other.... :P I think you forgot temporarily which website you are on now Katie. This is DCINB, not MI6. You slag Thrice off for this kind of thing over there, not over here. On here, he is your fellow mate for hating DC, remember....

(and actually, he thought parts of the trailer were good).

Its becoming difficult to have a debate here....................as some members cannot
decide what their real thoughts on Bond are.

We all know, where we stand with members such as 'BJ, Stocks, Carl..,Sweeney etc'

BUT can the members here that flip-flop............stop flopping, and make up their flippin minds.

Thanks

ps: whats happened to 'Skywalker'?

Flip flopping is what Thrice does.Frequently.There's a difference between flip flopping and changing your opinion :?

True. If your opinion had been `erm, yeah I thought CR was ok. I thought Craig was ok ish as Bond', to `Hmmm...after seeing it a couple of times now, it is not as good as I thought it originally was, but still ok I guess.'

That is changing an opinion.

But `I love CR, I love CR, I love CR. I have to go to the cinema 11 TIMES to see it. Daniel Craig is so hot. The DCINB lot are so sad and pathetic', to `I hate CR, I hate CR, I hate CR. It is the worst film ever made. Daniel Craig. Ugh! He is so ugly. I could NEVER fancy him! I hate MI6 members, but I now love DCINB members instead.'

That is more than changing an opinion. That is just plain wierd, and goes beyond the mere flip-flopping that Thrice did. Hell, you make Thrice look normal in comparison.

Flip flopping every two seconds(like Thrice does)is a lot different than what I do.And he'll probably say he loves it again after he's seen it, then change his mind, then change it again...you get the idea :?

What do you guys think is the best Bond film made so far?

My favorite is quite obvious:

Overall, if I had to choose just one.....Goldfinger, for me. Storyline, gadgeted car, women, great villain, best henchman ever. Great film, Connery at his best.
