You mentioned before that Cullen is a mix of Connery and Brosnan I think there's evidence to support that.
Brosnan

Connery (more Adrian Paul but everyone says he looks like Connery)

Damien Lewis was on a cbs morning show and was asked about Bond. He didnt deny he would like to play Bond but said he thinks Craigs here to stay.

Tom Ellis is probably 7-8 younger than Damien Lewis and I feel looks the part way more than Lewis.

If Lewis is a legit contender and he's 7-8 years older than Ellis how can we state that Ellis is to old.

I think he means too old to fit his laundry list of requirements.

I already gave a top 5 upthread. I'd be happy with any of the people in it. I don't believe in getting too attached to one candidate, or in ml94's "Top Trumps" approach to casting, whereby a candidate has to be this age, this height, this well-known etc. My problem with Daniel Craig isn't just that he doesn't look the way I imagine Bond to look (though I find that distracting), it's that he seems to be playing a different character to the one that all the previous actors played. There are certain intangible qualities that I look for in a Bond actor that I find more important than a merely statistical approach allows for. You're either James Bond or you're not, and Craig isn't, IMO.

That's was a while back in the thread I forgot. I'm a big Fassenbender as Bond fan. Cavill seems born to play the role but don't see how either could get it with thier current franchises especially Cavill. My top five list seems to be changing everyday.

I see. My current top 5

3.) Michael Fassenbender
4.) Henry Cavill
5.) Rupert Friend
I ve moved Clive Owen outta top five and Turner/Cullen have shot up my list.

ML94 you just want Friend to move up my list

I agree that Cavill and Fassenbender current franchises make them long shots at best. My next two olout if I were to eliminate Fassnebender and Cavill would be between James Lee-Taylor from the three olives vodka commercials, Sam Riley, Dan Stevens, and Oliver-Jackson Cohen. I think there's a list of 7-10 guys who'd be solid choices.

What percent of a chance would you guess that Bond #7 has been mentioned in this thread at some point?

Anyone worry that Bond #7 will not try to be "James Bond" but will try to play "Daniel Craig as James Bond."
