So much for comic book fans will not buy tickets for a female super hero. Never understood why Hollywood assumed we wouldn't want a woman super hero. Just go to any comic con.

Actor Roger Smith, who brought glamour to the TV detective genre as a hip private eye on "77 Sunset Strip," has died. He was 84.

Jack Gilardi, who is the agent of Smith's widow, actress Ann-Margret, said the actor died Sunday morning at a Los Angeles hospital after battling a terminal illness. Smith had battled the nerve disease myasthenia gravis for many years.Image

Gunshots have been reported at Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris as 'crowds scattered'.

Witness Mark Johnson posted on Twitter: "Loud bangs just now at Notre Dame. Crowd scattered. Sirens going off." Police in Paris have shot an injured a man who tried to attack police with a hammer at the Notre Dame cathedral, the Reuters news agency reports.

Police in Pairs earlier tweeted that they were responding to an incident at the square outside the cathedral and warned the public to stay away.

Sounds fun. I think of those da Vinci movies when I think of Rome.

Nutella? I had the impression wasn't that good?

I think there was a big deal made because something in it(palm oil?)was cancer causing at high temperatures. But it's not, so is fine(albeit in small quantities!)

The Mummy started its domestic box office run last night earning $2.66 million in previews. This is well below expectations and it was already expected to struggle. To put this into perspective, it only earned approximately a quarter of what Wonder Woman managed last week and less than half of what Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales earned the weekend before that. Add in reviews that are just 20% positive and there’s a chance the film’s word-of-mouth will kill the film’s legs by this evening. At this point, a $30 million opening could be asking too much. $25 million isn’t even a sure thing anymore..........................TOMATOMETER

Nobody was asking for a mummy reboot, or Tom cruise to star in it.
But the ads don't look that bad. Now the brendan fraser movies were fun, well the third one with dragon emperor was not that good.

It was a mistake recasting Rachel Weiss' character.

probably. The actor cast as their son wasn't very good and then the Chinese mummy's I don't hate but they probably should have stayed in Egypt.

The reboot and the "dark universe" universal is probably a mistake true they got big names but without a good idea behind it the are copying the D.C. Movies instead of marvel.

Gal Gadot is PERFECT as WW. She will be the BEST feature of this DC universe mess of films they are doing. WW could top Man Of Steel at the box office. The Aquaman film looks like another waste of time................plus this nonsense on the set:The last feud which captivated the attention of all US tabloids was the one involving Nicole Kidman and Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard. Apparently, these two cannot stand each other’s presence and the one who had the guts to admit it was the Aussie. The two blondes are currently filming for Aquaman and the awkward vibe from the set reached an alarming level. A source inside revealed for the National Enquirer that Kidman is determined to give Amber a hard time because she is one of Johnny’s closest friends and she is obviously on his side. ‘Nicole was very clear about Amber. She doesn’t have a good opinion about her because of what she has done to Johnny’, added the source. Shortly after Johnny’s messy divorce, Nicole Kidman rushed to be by the actor’s side. ‘She thinks Amber is a profiteer and a phony’. Image They cannot seriously think this lunkhead can deliver at the box office looking like this? :hair:
