This makes my stomach turn. Clearly no idea what she's doing. Jack Huston is more Bond than Craig. But doesn't scream James Bond too me.

basically nothing is new except this speculation.
Pervis and wade funny how many times they are fired and keep being called back.
Total crap about Craig demanding they be brought in to polish Logan's script, there was a number of people brought in before P&W were called back. Their latest interview seemed like they though a lot of changes had to happen to bond for the next movie

From above article:However, when I was in Los Angeles, an executive at a studio close to the Bond franchise told me that while Broccoli is keen on Huston, she is also 'absolutely keen on having a black actor playing Bond'. 'It's just finding the actor,' I was told, and then: 'In fact, she doesn't care what colour he is. Black, brown or white. She just wants a great actor.' :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :Bonk: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair: :hair:

My prediction on skull island is it might not upset Logan , reasoning behind this is the number of show times in my area, skull island is a bare minimum and Logan, the shack, get out, legos, John wick all have more show time today .
I was wrong last week about Logan see is these show times are a fluke limited to my area out side the big cities

Logan had $9.5 million from Thursday night last week.

I'm not saying good or bad movie just that around me not in a big city like NYC or LA other movies out for weeks have twice the play times, most movies fall on their faces when the don't get equal play time at theaters.

‘Kong: Skull Island’ Conquering ‘Logan’ For Top Spot At B.O. ----Deadline 2ND Update Midday: Warner Bros./Legendary’s Kong: Skull Island is floating toward a $20M Friday –that’s 37% better Pacific Rim‘s first day ($14.6M) and $500K shy of San Andreas ($20.5M) — which points the monster pic toward an opening weekend of $53M. That’s based off of non-Warner Bros. reported matinee projections. Warner Bros. and Legendary are so excited, they announced today that they’re putting together a writers room for Kong v. Godzilla led by Terry Rossio. I will see it over the weekend, maybe Sunday, if not on Monday............projections for Logan are at $10M today, and $35M for Wolverine’s second weekend, which reps a 60% decline and by Sunday a 10-day running cume that’s just under $150M.

Well I still think its total bo will suffer. We will see if it actually has enough showings to make it maybe where I live it's unique and the rest of the USA has more showing than Logan

Save your breath. You should know better that with Babs around, it's a waste of time to root for Aidan or any other classic types.

I'm not familiar with Jack Huston at all (off the top of my head I can't remember watching him in anything) but he looks a million times more Bondian than DC. Almost anything has to be better than a fiftysomething Daniel Craig mumbling and sleepwalking his way through another payday.

He was involved with Bond from the first film Dr No, and for me he will always be a very important part of the Bond lore. He was there during The Beatlemania equivalent in the 1960's. And the best thing about Bob, apart from his titanic achievements, was how down to earth he was and approachable.
As you may or may not be aware, I'm a fan of classic Hammer films as well as a Bond fan, and Bob also acted as the stunt coordinator for some of Hammer's swashbucklers like The Devil Ship Pirates and Captain Clegg (aka Night Creatures).
Hi Kristatos. Wow, I was not aware that Bob was involved with Hammer. Strange that you mention Hammer, as I am renting out their films in the last few weeks.

I recently watched The Curse Of The Werewolf, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, Dracula AD 1972, Taste The Blood Of Dracula, and am watching The Devil Rides Out. Just in those films were actors who would appear in later Bond films, like Charles Gray, Desmond Llewelyn, Geoffrey Keen, Christopher Neame and Caroline Munro to name a few.

I am a huge admirer of the late Sir Christopher Lee. Lee was distinctive in the right way. And his intelligence and class that makes Craig a neanderthal in comparison! There are no new young actors like him. Lee as Dracula has all the attractive qualities, presence and I began to ponder even more how strikingly bland Craig is. And there is a reason Cubby Broccoli wanted Bond to be at least six feet tall, because it adds to the intimidatory quality of the character.

Funny enough, but I think Dalton is the Hammer Bond in terms of his looks and style. Years back I used to visit the Cineart Gallery in Parsons Green and they were huge Bond fans as well as selling Hammer posters. The co - owner mentioned that Dalton was considered to be a future replacement for Christopher Lee as Dracula by Hammer.

Watch Licence To Kill when he has his hair slicked back in the casino and it is easy to see. Or Dalton in Jane Eyre.

re: MGM

At this point, the company is mostly a producer of reality or other "unscripted" television shows. Page 5 of this release from earlier this week lists its movie and TV productions fro 2017.

Both the New York Post and Wall Street Journal reported last month that MGM had been negotiating to sell itself to a Chinese buyer. The would-be deal fell through.
