The irony is not lost on me how Babzy can denounce an actor as a bit too "light in the loafers" to play Bond, then turn around and spend the next decade emasculating and "gaying up" the character!

I support and oppose cognitive dissonance! Seriously, though, it's so out of character for her that it makes me doubt that she actually said it. We can probably rule out Luke Evans if it's true, though. Evans, I believe, is openly gay, so if she refused to hire a closeted gay man like Jackman (I know he's not fooling anybody, but officially he's still in the closet), I doubt she'd hire an openly gay one. I know she hired Ben Whishaw, but he a) isn't playing Bond and b) didn't come out until Skyfall was already in cinemas, after the truth was more or less forced out of him.

Turner will correct that but the female director would want Hiddelston so who knows what your B---H will do if Cr-egg is history.........Movienewsguide.com: Maybe him being an up and coming actor will end up making him one of the biggest movie stars in the world because of the franchise. Since Aidan only has “Poldark” and “And Then There Were None” as two of his most known works, he perfectly fits the bill as the next actor to take on the role. Aside from this, he is young and will be able to portray the role for at least a decade. By the time he is done playing the role, fans would have the same opinion for him like they have for all the previous other Bonds. The Irish star also has quite an intense screen presence, which would make him a convincing Bond on screen. One major reason why the makers probably choose to cast an unknown actor in the role is because they can mold the actor in the character properly. And as far as the actor is concerned, he is guaranteed with a career that will only soar higher during or after having played the role. Daniel Craig and Pierce Brosnan are some examples of the same who now enjoy the status of being globally recognized movie stars because of the same franchise. With Aidan being cast in the role, his career will propel to new heights and the makers, too, will get a dedicated actor who has been winning hearts everywhere with his performance. UnrealityTV reported that following Aidan’s popularity in North London and Essex, he is the brand new favorite to become the next James Bond. Both him and Tom Hiddleston have been hailed as the most likely contenders. And it remains to be seen, who finally gets to wield the Walther PPK.

Turner or not, I don't trust Babs, and I will not give her even a cent. If she hires Hiddleston, do whatever you want with DC's Bonds. Hiddleston fall into the likes of DC as both men are odd looking though the former is more handsome than the latter. At least she would the leave the classic traditional types alone. If she hires Turner however, then DC's Bonds shall be destroyed in public and be recorded in the history books (especially here in the US) and NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Poldark star Aidan Turner is now the hot favourite to be announced as the next James Bond.Fans are predicting the 32-year-old could soon leave behind Cornwall's tin mines for the slick world of international espionage as they put their money on him to replace Daniel Craig .

Although Craig has not yet confirmed he is leaving the role , Ladbrokes are reporting that Turner is now front-runner to be cast as 007, with odds at 1-2 after a big weekend of betting.

The actor who’ll be playing the next James Bond is going to be announced very soon – probably within two weeks, according to bookmaker William Hill. And Tom Hiddleston, who’s been the firm favourite over the last few weeks, has been usurped at the last minute by a former favourite, Poldark’s Aidan Turner.

William Hill are offering odds of 2/5 that the Irish actor will win the part, while Hiddleston has dropped to 15/8. Idris Elba and Tom Hardy follow – both at 16/1 – with Damian Lewis and Michael Fassbender dropping to 33/1. Superman’s alter-ego Henry Cavill, however, has made a surprise jump to 25/1. Others in line are James Norton, Luke Evans, Richard Armitage, Nicholas Hoult and Sam Riley, all at 50/1.

Other supposed wildcards cropping up with Paddy Power are Billy Elliot’s Jamie Bell – storming in at 11/2 – plus Tim Roth and Orlando Bloom at 33/1. Dan Stevens, Andrew Lincoln, Gerard Butler, Taron Egerton, Gillian Anderson, Adrian Lester and James McAvoy are all offered at 40/1 with the bookmaker.

You KNOW better that I DO NOT trust that fat lady. She only cares about herself and her glory. She screwed over a modern classic Bond actor then fired him without a classic Bond film other than his debut GE. She hired an unconventional actor as Bond in Oscar nominated Bonds. And now I expect her to go back to casting a traditional Bond actor again? NO. No no no no no no no no! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is imperative that we have you aboard for the resurrection of the franchise if Broccoli does in fact fire Cr-egg officially and hires Turner officially. He looks like a Brosnan-esque type of bond you could embrace. Just give Aidan a chance IF she selects him.

FBF,the fact that SF and SP got Oscars means nothing. It was for the best song anyway. Critics are predictable. They will praise any movie that is proclaimed to be "serious","character driven" and all that s**t. And that's the only thing Barbara could have done with Craig. I mean,can you imagine Craig in a real Bond movie,where one needs to be all suave and charismatic? Yeah,me neither. I don't think she would give up this pretentious film making that's been going on since 2006 but with SP she reached dead end and now she might have to go back to the classic Bond formula. Whteher she knows how to use Bond formula properly is a whole other story...

I doubt that. The Goat of Mendes is correct in saying that EON is not a democracy, but I can't see Babbzy at aol dot com completely ignoring the negative reaction to SPECTRE. My gut feeling is that Blofeld may be back, but that Hans Oberhauser will never be mentioned again.
