I don't see what the fuss is about myself. He's an attractive guy, and still young. We're not talking Roger and Tanya Roberts in AVTAK here.

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

It's a little creepy, she was 15-16 when man of steel came out, but he's only 32 if they had met in two more years I doubt any one would notice much.
If she were out of college we'd see her as more a mature woman and not a young woman barely out of HS.

He got in trouble for dating that hunter chick who was only 21, but people hated her because she was a hunter.

So apparently Cavill like'em young. There's a scientific reason for this I'm sure.

On the other hand a majority of 30 year old women his age groups have been married and started families already. Was he really supposed to go for cougar Amy Adams ?

I don't think their relationship is a bad some say if he stays with her and marries nobody will care, he not and he dates anther girl who can't buy her own drink he will seem Predatorial in his tastes.

Deadpool's budget was only $58 million? How is that possible in these era of superhero expense? Look at how much profit this will do.......Deadpool is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary with the superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor and physical prowess. He is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his talkative nature and tendency to break the fourth wall, which is used by writers to humorous effect.

Moviefone: 'CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR'
Release Date: May 6

Opening Weekend: $175 to $200 million

If any movie can best "The Force Awakens'" opening weekend haul, it's this one. Fans are guaranteed to pay to see it at least twice, and Marvel's films tend to get lots of repeat business. It doesn't hurt that Iron Man and Cap are punching each other. (As I mentioned here last year. It will SLAUGHTER Batman v Superman too.)Image

'FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM'
Release Date: Nov. 18

Opening Weekend: $100 million

This "Harry Potter" prequel stars Eddie Redmayne as eccentric wizard Newt Scamander, who is on the hunt for monsters that have escaped from a magical suitcase. Expect the buzz for this film to own your attention the closer we get to release, as Warners hopes fans will flock to this Potterworld installment like they did to the previous one. Newton Artemis Fido "Newt" Scamander, O.M. (Second Class), (b. 1897) was a famed Magizoologist and author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Scamander developed an interest in magical creatures early in life, influenced by his mother's breeding of hippogriffs. After attending and graduating from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Scamander joined the Ministry of Magic, spending two years in the Office for House-Elf Relocation before joining the Beast Division. In 1918, he was commissioned by Augustus Worme of Obscurus Books to write Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. The book became a best seller, making Scamander a respected expert in the field of Magizoology. In his personal life, Scamander married Porpentina Goldstein, and fathered at least one child. By the beginning of the 1990s, Scamander was retired and living in Dorset. ............... FBF, this film is your kind of entertainment :!: 10 viewings?

Went to deadpool, um it's raunchy, profane, and violent. I enjoyed it. The price is right for a rated r superhero movie that is on the fringe.

I liked it but only the deadpool in costume parts they were the best the retelling of his origins didn't interest me, that and wolverine origins did the story better.

Managed to find the full Spectre film on YouTube yesterday, and reluctantly decided to watch it. Boringly bad is the worst kind of bad, and Spectre is just that. Despite dividing the film up into three sections, it was still a chore to sit through. There's no way I would have been able to watch it fully in one sitting.

Spectre, like Quantum Of Solace, is a half-a$$ed add-on/extension film, and it pretty much paints itself into a corner with the whole continuation of Craig's seemingly endless Bond soap opera.

Will Bond finally be able to get a life and live happily with his forced love interest, Madeleine? Or will he lose her in a cheap reference to On Her Majesty's Secret Service because of his evil jealous step-brother, Blofeld, the author of all Bond's Purvis and Wade rehashing pain? Find out in three years time on Days Of Our Bond.

My son's friend and his fiancee watched it on line last night. They are not avid Bond fans, but they do watch the films. They thought is was one of the worst movies they ever watched, not just as a Bond film, but a general movie.

Found this link on yahoo. An article that basically trashes Spectre, and it was advertised on yahoo, which has been so pro-Craig and the reboot. The article still touts the assumption that Craig will be back for Bond 25. But its negativity towards Spectre supports the prevailing mood I'm getting from a lot of people in my world. The consensus now seems to be that Spectre is so lousy but it's been a slow realization.

http://wegotthiscovered.com/movies/bond ... spiration/

Excerpt:

Bond 25 Looking For Real-World Inspiration

To say last year’s Spectre was a let-down would be a colossal understatement. With its bloated runtime, boring villain, and bizarrely tangled mythology, it was James Bond repurposed for the Marvel age, a film that wanted to honor its heritage while scribbling haphazardly over it. Viewers cried foul, and rightly so – the film inexplicably missed everything appealing about the Bond character.

I laughed when I read this line: "...the film inexplicably missed everything appealing about the Bond character."

Yeah, that's because they've got a hack idiot in the role, and the role itself is poorly written, along with the rest of the film.

This film was pure trash and the plot was a predicted bomb. Broccoli is confusing her genitalia's desires now in lieu of what her brain must be telling her.........GET RID OF CR-EGG........NOW :!:

You better hope that they don't root for the classic Bond actor to return.

Unfortunately I think Craig will return in 2020 after the poor dear has had a break and the next film will be regarded as one of the greatest films of all time (in reality it will be the usual boring fare).

Has Mark Strong just confirmed that Daniel Craig is quitting James Bond?

The actor says Craig has done everything he wanted to with 007 and won't stick around to die another day

Has Daniel Craig completed his final mission as James Bond? Well, his good friend Mark Strong certainly seems to think that Spectre was Criag's final outing as 007.

“Do you know what, I’d have loved to have played the villain in a Bond movie while Daniel was doing it because he’s a pal and that would have been great. But I think he’s come to the end of his Bond time and so it’s probably never going to happen, but that would have always been great,” Strong told ShortList.

“Having played so many villains, it would have been wonderful to have done the villain of villains, if you like. Because a Bond villain has a status all of his own,” he added.

Strong starred with Craig in BBC drama Our Friends in the North, and the Bond star is godfather to Strong's eldest child.

Strong said he'd certainly do what he could to convince Craig to return to the silver screen as the famous British agent, but hinted that there “powers at work greater than us who make all these decisions.”

Craig had been rumoured to depart as Bond after Spectre, and when he made some rather outrageous comments about his reluctance to return to the role there was a bit of a hullabaloo in the acting world.

Nevertheless, his term as the franchise’s leading man hasn’t done his career any harm. It’s just that now, according to Strong at least, he’s looking for a change of scenery.

“He has been [wonderful] and he’s loved it. But I think he feels like he’s mined it. He’s done what he wants with it. That point has come.”

Bear in mind that there's a long tradition of Bond actors threatening to quit after each movie in order to haggle for more money.
