When a villain is more handsome than Bond...
So weird seeing a beauty like Belluci with Craig.
Was that answer to M an attempt to do a one liner?

The trailer masquerades the film as an action flick, but in reality, the plot is a tedious, psychologically Freudian introspective reinventing of a villain that already died on his way down a chimney stack in FYEO :!:

Very true BJ, it appears EON's going keep the Brofeld plot line after all, I really hoped they'd see the error of their ways after the script was leaked, and yet...

Not to mention the special effects look crap, the bit where the plane crashes through the trees looks especially staged!

If they are really going by that leaked script...it will be REALLY moronic if this movies gets called "best Bond ever".

I don't remember that line being in the script. Maybe EON was telling the truth, and they have made changes...to make it even *more* pretentious.

I mind the idea of tying all of Bond's adventures as being orchestrated by Spectre, as they seem to be trying to tie all of Daniel movies together. That's not Fleming, it's really not Bond. Blofeld is not supposed to be Ra's al Ghul.

The fanboy reaction reminds me of the Britney Girl, guy?, on youtube 'leave Britney alone!', I don't mean to be insulting, there is just a level of devotion I can not fathom where it is coming from if it is real and not engineered group think.

Not even the most rabid Star Wars fans I know are not as over the top praising teasers. Some are down right critical of every little detail. I know Bond is in general a smaller fandom than most franchises, the weird 'click' mentality and fawning over the latest production no matter what is odd. It has to be a minority of a minority who truly blindly feel this way. I never saw a Bond trailer that had me so hyped up I could spew pablum like that, honestly most of the time I would be thinking looks nice hope they get it right this time.

That's right Kris, just when you think EON can't sink any lower... That line makes "kite dancing in a hurricane" look like sheer poetry!

I suppose Waltz could have added it. Actors do sometimes add their own dialogue. Rutger Hauer's "Time to die" speech wasn't in the original script for Blade Runner (and Hauer himself has admitted that he has no idea what "C-beams dancing at the Tannhauser Gate" means, he just thought it sounded good). But a speech like that suits the tone of Blade Runner much better than it suits a Bond film.

I get the love Craig and think they are in a new golden age instead of Moore pt 2, but have some self respect .

By new Moore age I don't mean to pick on the man himself just the attitude won had cramming out movies even if they were not as good as they should be

The early reviews of Pierce's Some Kind Of Beautiful are in, and they're not very good.

Aside from DC etc I think the Spectre trailer looks pretty good just as a film, however often when a trailer is good the film itself doesn't live up to expectations.

The blond girl looks interesting and did you notice some music from OHMSS?

It seems there are more little bits of the classic Bond films in this one than in Skyfall even.

I did and frankly that troubles me. You can't urinate on the series on the one, hand by making Blofeld Bond's foster brother and on the other think you can just play a few bars from the OHMSS theme out of nowhere and think all is forgiven!

It amazes me how EON has spent the last decade distancing themselves from the "tired old formula" which "nearly killed the franchise" then turn around and hamfistedly cram as much of it as possible over their uninspired origin story fetish.

The ones are read were pretty good. Look, its a romantic comedy don't expect Oscar nominations. But IMO the hardest thing is to make a good comedy.
