Calm down!

I'll add my opinion as I live in the UK. I can't tell you if forcing the vast majority of people to go private would be a good thing. I'd need to live under that system for a while. I'd imagine it would be similar to the NHS with many private companies providing a poor service to make a bigger profit.

Lots of people can't afford a dentist because they have to pay and simply don't bother.

My brother doesn't have the money to go NHS either, and couldn't have an operation in time. Luckily someone paid for him to go private, which in effect saved his life!!!!

I had an operation under the NHS about 18 years ago, which went very well. However, the NHS is very different now to how it was then.

Calm down, both of you. Such a subject should not cause such a result. It would be interesting though if Clinton and Obama, who both praise such a government run program, would reference the UK for the shortcomings and not deceive the US citizens that what they are pushing is so great. I wonder who fixed up Craig's injured ribs on the set of QOSTBM this week after he injured himself on the set. I guess he went private.

Dental care is not affordable by many in the UK? How expensive is it?

There is plenty of hype around the new Indiana Jones film. Which will be more successful at the box office worldwide?: The Kingdom of The Crystal Skull or QOSTBM?

It's hard to say at this point.
Indy will have an incredible comeback ofter a nineteen year absense.
Though Bond can also pack 'em in. If the film opens to good reviews and good word of mouth, there's no reason why QOS could equal or better TKOTCS.
But even if Indy out performs Bond does it matter?
Bond will make bucket loads of money still. Enough to guarantee Bond 23 and Craigs return.
I'll put money on it right now.

To complete his trilogy there will be good reason to think so, not to my satisfaction, but to Eon's. Then maybe, maybe, order will be restored to the Bond force.

The trailers look really impressive and when the music kicks in it's hard not to feel a tad excited.

I think Indy will out perform Bond regardless of who was playing Bond.

Actually, neither Clinton nor Obama has promised a government-run healthcare system. Dennis Kucinich was the only candidate pushing for a single-payer system, but this would have been modelled on the Canadian system, not the British one. Clinton and Obama's proposals are merely designed to extend the current system to try and solve the problem of the 50 million uninsured. But, as Michael Moore's movie Sicko pointed out, they are only half the problem - the other half is that health insurance companies make their money by denying claims. Both Clinton and Obama recieve megabucks in campaign donations from the health insurance companies, so don't look to them for any solution to this problem.

I wont comment on the Health issue!............except to say that in the UK
if you need major medical care, you dont need to mortgage your house to
pay the bills.

Back to Bond!

I think we will only get a true inkling of what the new film will be like when we see the early summer teaser trailers!

I think the new Indiana film will do very well at the boxoffice................i
mean we all know Mr Ford is quite old now...............but Lucas wouldn't make a new Indy film, until he knew he had an excellent script............pity it took so long................but i will for one be going to see the film.

Don't worry. Skywalker and I are cool now. My original comments on the NHS were a tad insensitive. Both him and me have vastly different experiences of it, hence why the thread suddenly became heated. But ultimately, we both actually want the same thing - for the NHS to be the envy of the world it once was.

Back on topic, I think Indy will easily be the biggest film of the year, topping both QOS and TDK.
