Pierce posted this petition on his Facebook page: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/takeacti ... 1458516716

Personally, I'm skeptical about the value of online petitions, but if anyone wants to sign, then be my guest.

Oh, excellent about Mr. Mikkelsen.

About the cheating. the news here is that SHE is cheating on HIM, not the other way around! LOL

I don't want to be too unkind I never thought there was much real about their marriage. They sunk off to the court house with a handful of witnesses. Something about it felt more business than love.

I may be way off and obviously there shouldn't be cheating but it's a Hollywood marriage so cheating is probably going to happen at some point.

I've got a question when the thunderball rights were bought who owns them MGM or eon / Danjaq? If it's MGM and if they own the CR rights too then with half Danjaq they own more of the bond rights than eon.
Omega you are absolutely right re: Hollywood marriages and there are also those where people THINK people are married but in reality they aren't at all. In this case I think they did get married but when you start out with an affair on set, unless the people involved are IT for each other, it rarely works. It needs to be the "once in a lifetime" type of love for it to work. I think this wasn't the case, and this is the result . I was honestly shocked when I read about her repeatedly cheating on him and it being very common knowledge in Hollywood, and the fact people even know that he's left home alone AND that he's not very bright. I didn't think it would get to such points, but anyway.

Now, about MGM and Thunderball, MGM DOES own FULL rights to it. MGM, not Eon.
here:
http://www.avclub.com/article/mgm-final ... erb-105699

And yes they do own more Bond rights than EON on paper. I now have a G connection as in the G in MGM but I haven't gone in depth about that topic as my connection is for other reasons. Personal, not professional. I will see what I can find out.

Him sitting at home alone is depressing.
Having Barbara broccoli feel him up must be the highlight of his year

Come to think of it I have not seen too many pictures of them together it normally Craig alone at soccer game, at the air port.

Dam. I actually feel bad for him now.

I just saw The November Man, fellas. Will be writing a review soon. But in short? The film is highly recommended. Brosnan at his best.

The public must see it and not listen to the biased pro-Cr-egg critics and judge it for themselves and and most will be pleasantly surprised.

I wouldn't say the film is better than GoldenEye. Point of the film is you should never view it as a Bond film, because it's a lot further in distance from that territory. If you view it as an action thriller, you will absolutely love it. Just don't expect "Bondian" moments, only Pierce being extremely badass and awesome in a role that would give Liam Neeson a run for his money. Bond is history.

Drake, where do you rank NM in the list of all the works Pierce has done (007 included)? We can agree it seems better than those lighthearted stuff he did after Bond.

I've finished this one the other night. What an odd story. I don't know if it is the 10th anniversary adding edited portions back or if it was always disjointed as a book.
What kept me from back was [spoil]his dead wife visiting the hotel[/spoil], something about the situation was too vivid for me, hit home and kept me away .

Stardust was better, althou it is a different kind of story.

His films that I've seen overall:
Tomorrow Never Dies
GoldenEye
Butterfly On A Wheel
The November Man
The Thomas Crown Affair
Live Wire
After The Sunset
Die Another Day
Dante's Peak
A Married Life
The World Is Not Enough
The Ghost Writer

Others I don't give much of an attention, but these films are definitely his best ones.

Still no UK release date listed on IMDb. I looked on the BBFC website, which sometimes gives release dates, and it doesn't even appear to have been rated yet.
