Han Solo hurt his ankle on set. Doesn't look like he was holding off filming for his "Wookie bitch" Craig to show up

The Movie News Hound reported that Gareth Edwards allegedly told reporters that he sees the Godzilla franchise ending with the humans trying to create their own version of Godzilla and it will end badly for the humans. Could this mean that Mechagodzilla will appear on Godzilla 3 after Motha lays down the trashing on the Godzilla 2014 sequel?
I don't get how GZ and Spider-Man get sequels not making money but other good movies don't

Wasn't the MUTO in the first film basically Mothra in all but name?

No, it was Rodan in Godzilla. Mothra is a giant friendly moth. They are two completely different entities. From the 1960s version Ghidrah

A painful, mosquito-borne viral illness has surfaced across the United States, carried by recent travelers to the Caribbean where the virus is raging.

Health officials in North Carolina, Nebraska and Indiana this week reported the first confirmed chikungunya cases in those states, along with Tennessee, which has suspected cases.

Chikungunya has rapidly spread in the Caribbean in recent months, sending thousands of patients to hospitals with painful joints, pounding headaches and spiking fevers.

Florida's 25 cases account for the majority reported in the United States, according to state health officials and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

The cases in the continental United States have not been transmitted by local mosquitoes, which would raise the threat.

"It will be more difficult for the virus to establish itself here," said Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease specialist at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Along with new reports, the CDC is monitoring chikungunya in Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Virginia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Symptoms surface within three to seven days after a bite from an infected mosquito and typically dissipate within a week. There is no vaccine, and the virus is not deadly. Medications can help treat high fevers.

The Caribbean Public Health Agency said this week the number of confirmed and suspected cases had risen to 135,651, up from just over 100,000 on June 2. The virus has been detected in 20 countries and territories, with the largest outbreak of suspected cases in the Dominican Republic.

Health officials in the Dominican Republic said they detected more than 77,000 suspected cases since the virus reached the country five and half months ago, including 20,000 new suspected cases in the last week alone, according to the Public Health Ministry.

World Health Organization representatives in Haiti said chikungunya will continue to spread as mosquitoes breed in standing water and in the open containers used in many Haitian homes that lack running water.

With Edgar Wright no longer involved, Ant-Man is now being written by Adam McKay (Anchorman, Step Brothers) and directed by Peyton Reed (Bring It On, Down With Love). Clearly these are not two names that the average person immediately thinks of when they are discussion potential comic book movie directors, and as a result the decision has been surrounded by quite a bit of controversy.

Really, I think whoever the director was would be fighting an uphill battle. Ant-Man is not a particularly well-known character, and most people who wanted to see the film said it was because of Wright.

I'm not sure who ant man is. Of course marvel has so many characters it's hard to keep up.

Btw did anyone here play the last lego marvel game? There was a bond tribute with a goldfinger inspired scene

"Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves will fill the spot left by Daniel Craig to headline this new film that had been on hold in recent weeks. Just a few days before production started back in April, "The Whole Truth" lost its star, Daniel Craig, who pulled out of the project for unknown reasons. The film is back on track with Keanu Reeves as headliner."

While Pierce keeps himself busy between Bond films, DC limits himself to just Bond films. Does typecasting ring a bell to him?

I think Bond is all he has left. After pulling out of Monuments Men and now this courtroom drama, who would want to hire him for anything else?

I can't really say anything about that, as Dalton did only two films between Bonds. But I agree about Brosnan, whatever opinion I have of Brosnan, he did keep busy in between Bonds.

Actually only one, since Brenda Starr was made in 1986 and sat on the shelf for 3 years (rarely a good sign). But his Bond films were only 2 years apart, so that's still a film a year - a fairly average rate for an actor. The year that Jim Carrey managed to make 4 films was considered a near-miracle at the time (OK, Carrey isn't everybody's cup of tea, but that's still a formidable workrate).

It's amazing that Broccoli has inadvertently and categorically ended Cr-egg's film career but she made him rich as well, so satisfying her craven wants did have it's benefits for his financial well being, and it got him Rachel, who wanted that dough as her dowry when she married the porcupine, after he cheated on Satsuki behind her back. :fight:
