Not sure. I don't think there is any reference in the actual film to Bond being 28, I think it was just a note in the script (I can't remember where I read it, so I can't check). A lot of movie screenplays I've read have physical descriptions of their characters that don't match the actor who was eventually cast, so I suppose one shouldn't make too big a deal of it. When the script was written, the writers had no idea who would be playing Bond, so the first draft of the script has to be viewed like the Pirate Code...more like guidelines (said in a Captain Barbossa voice).

Go to the official CR website and it shows Bond's dossier with full bio. Whatever "was" on the script in early development such as Bond being 28 is irreverent now. Besides, wasn't it Campbell who suggested to have someone in his 20s just so he could get Cavill?

I hadn't heard that. Whatever the official bio says, though, the rookie Bond in CR seemed a tad immature for a man pushing forty, which suggests that the script had someone younger in mind. And why did he get mistaken for the valet parking guy?

So, stocks, what do you think of the idea of Worthington taking over as Bond after Craig leaves?

Because he wore similar clothing as the valet parking guys and the Goldfinger-like character probably didn't give a d**n.

I hope they find a more competent actor instead of another pretty face. I'd like EON to find a hardworking actor like Daniel Craig and Christian Bale who are both very dedicated to their work.

Another good example is an actor like Timothy Dalton. He's always shown dedication to the source and he's a d**n good actor, I hope they'd find someone with that same passion once Craig retires from the role around the next decade. But I'm not gonna speculate who it will exactly be. It could be an actor we've never heard of. The guys who did test screenings will probably have moved on. It's just way too early to speculate who'd be #7, I know the Craig-haters are eager but they're gonna need some patience for this.
