You do realise how silly that comment is, right?
adam wrote: However unlike the taller, naturally bigger Bonds, he does'nt fill the screen or have a presence.
Again not to sure about that but. Whatever.
adam wrote: This together with his ugly looks & lack of charm makes it hard to see what a Bond babe would see in him.
Jeez that's original. What will they think of next?

Not to sure we have any women on the site.
Of course I could be wrong.

If you're going to quote me at least get it right, and don't resort to cheap edit tricks Skywalker.
You've done it before and it was amusing. Anymore than that and it becomes tired.

No-one seems to have much comment on the 5'10" Mel Gibson being sought by Cubby in the late eighties mentioned in a post I wrote above.
You all seem to carry on about the 5'11" Craig, but it appears Gibson would've been accepted by you all?

Gibson was too short for Bond. Craig is too short and stocky for Bond. But then everyone agrees that he looks nothing like Ian Fleming's Bond.

i never liked the Idea of Gibson as Bond. He just doesn't seem suave.

He would've been totally wrong. But Cubby was willing to sign him.
I can't imagine why he would do that.

I think Gibson could have played the suave type as he has shown it in films like 'What women want'. Admittedly this movie wasn't out in the 80's so it's difficult to speculate whether he could have pulled it off back then. Having said that I still would not have liked Mad Max as Bond.

He's far to short ( ) and has the wrong accent. If he was ever cast as James Bond I would've boycotted the film.
Thankfully I have liked all the actors cast as Bond. I can only hope that tradition continues.
:)

So no Henry Cavill thanks Eon.
