Great film, it's available on an Australian dvd release for those who haven't seen it.

I've also seen Stoner and Freeze Bomb and they're great as well although not as easy to get hold of.

Does anyone know the details of 'Col' Parker chaining the King to mediocre, but often fun, movies? When I flew to Hawaii, I chose Elvis in-flight movies, and then on Kauai did the Elvis tour! which stopped at the Coconut Palms hotel (I think that's the name, Cmdr 0077 is bad with details) .. all the while, the big van played Elvis in the background, At the hotel, which was in sad shape, with the lagoon muddy (maybe an investor has been found now), the guide said during filming of Blue Hawaii (the film I had just watched on the flight), Elvis would play at being a waiter to the hotel guests. He said Elvis was very nice to everyone; I've heard that he called older people sir or m'am.***
On the Bruce, check out the Bruce Lee animation ad / Johnny Walker. The likeness has him slightly older, and speaking Mandarin (he spoke Cantonese). His daughter defends the ad as a tribute, and not whisky ad.
*** Met a beautiful Bond girl from Thailand in Hong Kong named M'am, which sounds very funny, yes M'am! She was visiting her best friend, who Cmdr 0077 was 'with' .... we went to a Thai closet café (almost that small) where 0077 proceeded to eat a dish that was sun-hot, and almost collapsed! Thankfully, was able to have self control, and cooly drink water 8) .. during the meal, M'am pressed her thigh against the Commander; her friend must have noticed something, for she switched seats! "I wouldn't touch that horrible girl!"

Just Gaggled 'Bruce Lee / TMWTGG .... lots of interesting bits. "Lee at that time was the biggest star in the world, and had signed with George Lazenby. If he hadn't died, George would have possibly been a big star without Bond, just as his 'friend' had advised. TMWTGG was heavily influenced by Lee's Enter the Dragon ...both have scenes with mirrors, and of course the Bond film had kung fu."

Btw,Bond's fight at the martial arts academy was pretty lame. He just kicks the guy in a 'special place' and that's that! A far cry from YOLT's fight in Osato's office.

That's because it was the 1970s when people were asking for "light" visions instead of blood and gore and over the top violence. It wasn't Moore's fault that the fight choreography of Bond's was lame, now if Vic Armstrong was there, he would have had dismissed those "light" views and showed some real actions, as it was with the mansion fight in Octopussy. In Moore's Saint TV Series, he was a one professional martial artist, so that explains Moore was tough enough. They just didn't know how to handle the spy films in the early-to-mid 1970s, all going for a Burt Reynolds styled comedies. It didn't work. Now, take a look at Dalton, the man knows how to fight. And for some reason, starting with TWINE, they've toned down Bond melee skills again, and putting the blame on Brosnan for it. Hasn't anyone seen the fast paced hand to hand fight with Alec at Janus Satellite control room? Too much like Grant vs Bond fight in FRWL. And Brosnan's downfall was caused by the damned Barbara Broccoli on purpose!

I love all the Elvis films. He wanted to do more films like King Creole but his films made money and that was all the studios cared about. He passed on the Streisand film A Star Is Born which would have been his best role, because he would not get top billing and the Colonel refused to allow that.
