Watch it go under 90% and lower as the film is watched by REAL people, not paid off Eon robotic critics.

I'll say this for Slick Jet Set Willy/The Sweeney he can dish it out and he can take it too. Last time he had to take his lumps with that piss poor film masquerading as a Bond movie. This time it could be our turn, a draw, or a come back. It's how the game is played got to be prepared to take the lumps as well as give them out.

Problem with our buddy is he gets carried away in the euphoria of the new release.
The Sweeney has a sense of humour unlike some of the Daniel Criag fans we get on here.

I've got a question. The critic rates Skyfall 4-3-3 in three different categories and it's rated "rotten". But the same critic rated The Avengers 3-4-3 and it got a "fresh" rating. Is there any logic to this?

Beats me. I looked at the icons on the Rotten Tomatoes page and this review was the only one without a "fresh" icon (a full red tomato).

I don't know the rotten system is a mystery. I've read reviews mostly positive listed as rotten, and the other way round. I think they only read some of the reviews or only accurately list those reviews in line with their own system.

Ok, ok.....I'll calm down over all these glowing reviews. I can see this is in bad taste for most of you on here. I have to be careful to be not carried away too, as my expectations are absolutely sky high right now for this......

Come next Friday, my expectations may be on a sky fall............

BJ, there is still only 1 negative review on RT. This is hardly conclusive that any truth is coming out at all. More likely a reviewer tryng to make a name for himself by going against the tide. He's even receiving the customary backlash from Bond fans if you read the comments below his review.

It's like TDKR all over again.

My first Bond was Connery in GF (I was about 4 or 5 at the time).

Nice idea with the gunbarrel at the end.............

(or should that be bad idea)?

I hope not. Shameful what happened. (I mean before the massacre, fans threatening critics took it too far.)

Love it charlatans making a name for themselves and crooked lackeys paying for their daughters dental work by taking a dive. Are there no heroes left?

I know. I feel sorry for reviewers now. If they praise this film they've been bunged a crisp £50 in their top pocket by Babs personally, if they slate it they are name-grabbers looking to make a headline by going against the tide.

Serves them right, bottom feeders! Watching movies for free! Telling us what they think! La-di-da!

Backlash from "Bond fans". More like a backlash from the lunatic fanatical Craig as Bond fans who always turn up expressing outrage at the merest hint of criticism of their hero.

I saw my first Bond when I was 7 or 8 -- Thunderball at a drive-in theater. That was the Imax of its day. :D

Aww yeah. We lived literally like 5 minutes away from a drive in growing up. Good times. There's condos where it used to be now. :cuss:

More reviews in, if you can speak French -

ECRANLARGE give 4/5
http://www.ecranlarge.com/movie_review- ... 167871.php

4.5/5 given by lexpress
http://www.lexpress.fr/culture/cinema/s ... 74779.html

video of critics opinions after showing (in French)...very positive.
1 critic does mention that it would have been the complete classic if the gunbarrel was at the start but still says it is -
"the best James Bond film!"
