Owen is too old to start in 4 years. Jackman could do it in that situation. Cavill is the logical choice but Eon is insane so there goes the franchise. I like the Q'ute add on.

Re: Bond 24 reboot - you are the producer
as i said, if i had my way, and you can in fantasy, EON would be thrown out of the picture completly so that baboring can not continue to destroy the franchise with her toxic influence. EON would have the rights stripped from them and they would be passed on to Lionsgate, Eon would have no say what so ever with legal orders in place to prevent ANY EON staff from getting within 10 miles of the production via exclusion order.
I know clive is getting old, but i dont think he is too old, he is aging very gracefully, and i personally feel Bond should actually be played by an older actor anyway, as if classic Bond was real, to have his experience, as i have no time for this "rookie" rubbish, he would be at LEAST 48 years old! also, i feel an older actor would bring a more distinquished and elegant look to Bond, as did Andrew Bicknell as the model of AUFbond, i felt the older, more elegant look suited Bond perfectly.
also, there is no questioning clives toughness, he was what, 50 when he did Killer Elite, he did ALL his own stunts, and he kept up with Jason Statham (a former olympic athlete and Complete, but likeable, Nutcase!) who was at full throttle in that movie, and he only got damaged once, in the hospital fight, when statham punches spike in the nuts,,,stath forgot to hold back the punch.... when owens eyes practically explode there...he isnt acting,..., thats the only time he got hurt, so hes clearly still very fit! unlike cr-egg who apparantly pulls something major every time he bends over!
sure, his age means he'd only be able to do 2 or 3 films and a couple of games, but, i think hed be a distinqusshed, elegant, gentlemanly bond. and his years of experience would help the directors, so they can focus on getting the films back on track and undoing the damage of the, NON CANNONICAL Cr-egg films, instead of worrying about an inexperienced lead actor as would happen with cavill. I think Owen would be good to "get the franchise back on its feet", until Micheal Fassbender gets north of 40 and gets the distinquished elegance needed to play "classic bond".
i am not a fan of hugh jackman i am afraid. each to own i quess.
No Problem, i am the "autistic freind" jack mentioned in his skyfall review. i am the one who hated them making Wishaw play a "comedy aspie", so, as he stated, i think its best to have Q return to gadget master, and the computer expert, played by a REAL ASPIE, to be a Seperate charachter, hence the return of Q'ute. i was going to have it as Z from AUF, but i fiqured, a lot of the classic bond audience arnt really gamers, but would be big readers. so, bringing back Q'ute would resonate better with them

As I understand it, Clive Owen has been offered the role and turned it down, and has gone on record as saying he's not interested.

i actually havnt read anything about that kristatos,. if one does not know and all that....
also, perhaps he turned it down because he didnt want to work for baboring? i couldnt blame him if that was the case, with her out of the way, perhaps he would change his tune, if not, well, i quess i would probably promote Fassbender early... i just hope it wouldnt be too early.

Re: Bond 24 reboot - you are the producer
Agreed with Glorious England. Bond should be portrayed in his mid-to-late 40s, and Clive Owen would be extremely perfect for the role. At least, we get three films out of him, but that's better than zero, isn't it? Then, he'll hand the tux to Michael Fassbender.

Re: Bond 24 reboot - you are the producer
Jackman will be 49 in 4 years, the same age Brosnan was in DAD. No way would he be hired knowing that his first film would be his last (Lazenby was supposed to make 7 films, remember).bjmdds wrote:Owen is too old to start in 4 years. On an unrelated note, regarding the gunbarrel, thank goodness for YouTube.
