Deadline.com reports that Sony has started talks with screenwriter Steve Zaillian to begin writing the script for the second book in the Millenium Trilogy, The Girl Who Played with Fire.
Zaillian is currently working on the script for the first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, to begin filming this fall. Auditions/readings still continue for the actress to play lead Lisbeth Salander and original reports that all but four unknowns were cut are now proving to have been false.
James Bond star, Daniel Craig, has already signed to play publisher Mikael Blomqvist.
You can find the Millenium Trilogy, which includes The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, through Amazon or all other online booksellers. Or you can find them locally through Joseph-Beth Booksellers in the Lexington Green Mall or Barnes & Noble at the Hamburg Pavillion Shopping Center.

This the Tv show? The SG1 guys made it for showtime then I think stopped when SG1 became a hit.

No, the news search had MGM as trying to quietly finance a Outer Limits movie. I can see the attraction to make it but not at the cost of 007 or the Hobbit.

I don't doubt it could be inexpensively put together I don't see the point to making it when fans of two big money making franchises are waiting for funding. Althou according to recent reports even if funding were there Bond 23 would be a ways off regardless.

The original black and white Outer Limits series from the sixties is a lot of fun. A lot of people think it was even better than The Twilight Zone. Regarding Bond 23, it would be interesting to know if Craig's contract would expire if Bond 23 was delayed for two or three more years.
