It seems to me that would be the sort of thing that would be perfect for satellite radio(I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to when you're talking about digital radio, or something else).

Yeah, it was either Sirius or XM, before they merged.

Yannick Bisson would be prefect for a Bond mini series. He looks like a young Sean Connery. If he doesn't have a English accent it would be simple to dub it in.

I'd imagine his performance would have been much the same, but the TV series would have Saint production values. The gulf between TV and cinema in terms of production values and storytelling techniques was much wider in those days that it is now.

A Bond tv series in the 60s or 70s would have sucked. A TV show made now would have much higher standards.

A Bond television series made in the sixities or seventies would have been very similar to The Avengers or The Saint or the many other similar programs, as Kristatos stated.

A HBO Bond series set in the 1950's/60's aimed at an adult audience would be fantastic.

Eon want their Bond movies to be special, so do not want a television program made. Cubby Broccoli struck gold with his cinematic Bond adaption and as a result we have just had the official Eon movies - plus a rebel entry - and a handful of radio adaptions.

Another good thing about a HBO bond series would be that(not the Bond films/TV show need swearing)they could have it(at their discretion, of course)
