Fleming also wrote about a James Bond who was tall and filmstar handsome with black hair. Eon must have missed those bits.

P'raps. But we are talking about Bourne similarities with Bond here, not Craig's suitability for the role.

If they had a website we could send them the relevant passages.

He was also described with cruel looks and IIRC one character's first impression of Bond was a thug. But hey, we do have an actual sketch of Bond's profile that Fleming approved.

Oh I know...

I can't believe that someone is still seriously suggesting that Craig looks like Bond (unless it was a tongue in cheek joke?) - particularly in the famous sketch above.

You can argue that his new take on Bond is closer to Fleming than others. Does he look like Bond? No. Most Bond fans who like Daniel Craig admit that now.

I can see a similarity to the image above. The sketch face is slightly longer, nose slightly longer, but the lips, ears and eyes all fit Craig, as does the hairline.

Daniel Craig does indeed have ears, a nose, a mouth and all the other features of a human head, so he is similar to the famous sketch.

But, all his features are quite different from those in the sketch.

I guess different people see different things Gazza.
I can clearly see a good likeness from Fleming vision, to that of Daniel Craig. There's also a hint of Peter Cushing to it aswell.

Yes there is some Peter Cushing in the sketch. Add in some Jeremy Brett and Stewart Granger too.

That picture says a thousand insults and reinforces why this entire website exists. Enough of this wax-faced Bond impostor.

Nice to see the Skywalker back in action.

DC looks just like Sean Connery in that picture. :^o):
